Here we are at 4 and 3. Has Ben been perfect? Nope. After are next 2 games we just might be sitting at 6 and 3. I know. I am getting ahead here but Ben was said to be finished. By numerous fans and the media talking heads. Even against the Browns Ben was not perfect. Give him a resemblance of a running gain and our Offense seems to work. It has the last 2 or 3 games anyways. With an above average D play it looks like we might have a team here. I know. I am drinking the cool aid after a tough win.....no thanks to Tomlin. Had to get that jab in. Anyone thinks any other QB on our roster could have won this game is simply....crazy. Ok. I am done.

Thrilled we won, but I still think he's done. Hell, think back to when Denver actually went to, and won the SB in '16. All that, and Manning was done and he knew it; without their amazing defense playing lights out in those playoffs, they wouldnt have sniffed the playoffs, let alone the SB. Obviously, Ben is the Steeler qb this season, we live or die with him. But at the beginning of the '22 season, he should NOT be the starter anymore. That is, if the front office/coaches have a viable transition plan.

The kid is still alright!

Outside of the first drive of the second half he looked ok. That should be all we need IF the play calling is good. The hidden factor has been the EFFORT we saw from the players on our last scoring drive. It was tremendous.

Don't be silly. Everything is Ben's fault. Once you accept that, everything falls into place.

Agreed....but somehow we are 4 and 3. 😁

Season is a long way from over but Ben has been Benning it out there and the Ben haters just hate.

Ben stayed TO free. A big reason for us winning.

For the first time since his injury (which had nothing to do with his legs) he seemed willing to be mobile. He ran a rollout to the right and hit a pass, the QB sneak on the 2 point conversion and just seemed more mobile. I don't expect him to be Tyrod Taylor or take a lot of hits, but anything is better than being a statue in cement shoes and getting rid of the ball in 2 seconds like he's been doing the last year and a half. It just gives the offence some variety and a chance to succeed.

Sure. Simply though he is still our best option at QB now. His RPO was pretty darn good today. Might have won the game. Again. Give Ben a bit of time to throw and a running game and things might happen for the good.

Ben looked as good as he had all season after looked completely washed early in the year. Offense still only produced 15 points, and yes, I understand it should've been 20. They're still leaving the defense with very little margin of error.

I as well as others said BEN can not carry this team. He needs a running game and it appears as though we have it. It just keeps getting better and better as the two ROOKIE offensive linemen get more playing time. Najee is amazing along with Freirmuth. Our passing attach has opened up due to the fear of the run. Play calling needs a little improvement but is well under way to being good.

Our cioaching staff needs to step up but I think that will come along some as well.

"Bubbles" needs to be replace in season or if not, then immeadiately once we are done.

15 points against the Browns defense isn't to bad considering it was enough to win. Our "D" held their rushing attach under 100 yards which in itself is pretty good as well.

Can't see the complaint here.

Somewhat agree. I think Ben is barely hanging on. But I thought Manning was showing a little more restrictions in his last year. Every time I think stick a fork in him there he is making some nice throws. But yeah I think this is his Swann song for better (hopefully) or worse.

If our kicker isn't lost for half the game and they didn't make that idiotic call at the end of the half, we win this game by 14+. I think Ben's doing fine. What more can anyone ask for out of their QB?

There seems to be an excuse every week the Steelers score 20 or less.

Peyton was a total noodle arm in his last season.

Ben has more left than Peyton did, but the Steelers defense is not as good as that Broncos defense.

Their best chance to do anything of significance this season is for the running game to continue to improve.

It will take pressure of off Ben and some exposure off the defense, which looks a bit weak in the secondary.

They're still not scoring a ton, for which he has to share some blame.

He's been better since ******** the bed against the Bengals and Packers, but he still seems kind of limited out there. His mechanics are not what they were and bad things tend to happen now when he looks to scramble or pump fake.

He still ranks near the bottom of the league in yards per pass.

Who would you prefer under center? What's the solution to make this offense #1 in the league?

Ben's their best option right now, but the days of having a top 10 passing game with him are gone.

He's been OK in recent weeks, but that is basically his ceiling at this point.

No one is asking for or expecting the No. 1 offense. We can expect better than a bottom 6 scoring offense. The Steelers offense is performing like teams that will be drafting in the top 10.

Good thing we have a defense and the makings of a running game. Our OL has been generating pretty damn good push over the course of the past few weeks. I'd prefer Ben today than O'Donnell on his best day and that yutz got us to a Superbowl with a lot of help from his friends.
