Eric Ebron vows in cryptic tweet to drop even MORE passes against the Bills!
Seemingly, not pleased with his 3 drop performance against the WTFs yesterday, Eric Ebron has vowed to drop even more catchable balls as the Steelers prepare to head to Buffalo to face the scrappy Bills. Asked about his preparation for Sunday's nationally televised game Ebron took the opportunity to lobby for better in-flight meal service. Recently Ebron has voiced dissatisfaction with the vegan offerings and asked for food more befitting a super bowl champion in the making.
When asked about Ebron's failure to catch the ball in critical game situations Tomlin referenced his famous "Next Man Up" mantra. Apparently Tomlin believes Vance McDonald may be able to drop even more balls than Ebron has managed in his first season with the Steelers. Some surmise that this is the real reason for Ebron's fires being re-lit. He feels the pressure to drop more balls in order to secure his position and continue being able to insincerely threaten to give up his game check.
Leave it to the optimists to make lemonade, however. Vegas has the under on Ebron's drops against the Bills at 5. Don't be fooled. Ebron promises to "be ready". Better to bet the over and count your cash as you drown your sorrows.
