Call your shot - who will the Steelers take Thursday night

Malik Willis will be the Steelers first pick, either at 20 or by trading up...

Thing is you brought a QB in. Then you told a LBer come to the Steelers you can win now. Not exactly promoting win now with a first round QB.

I would like to see Williams, Olave, Booth, Johnson, or Davis.

We really need a playmaker and Williams could be the best wide receiver to come out of this draft. Olave is said to be the best route runner and has terrific speed.

Booth has CB1 potential and with some of the offensive talent in the AFCN, I'd love to see a shutdown guy.

The game is won in the trenches. Guard and NT aren't premium positions, but Johnson or Davis would be huge upgrades for either line.

Who do the Steelers take? I think they go Willis.

Dilly Dilly!

Valid point, Rudolph is more ready to play now than any QB in this draft. Although, a 1st rounder would never clear waivers, so he would never make it to the practice squad. If we do draft a QB in the 1st 3 rounds, one of the 3 would most likely be traded before cut down day (baring an injury) or we would have to carry 3 QB's all season on the active roster.
They kept three active QBs on the roster last year (Ben, Rudolph, Haskins). It's just that Haskins didn't dress. I think they also went with Ben, Rudolph and Dobbs on the active the year before (not sure, maybe Dobbs was on the PS). Anyway, it's not unheard of for them to keep three on the active roster with one of them not dressing for games.

BPA - I hope
Ahh, but BPA is subject to personal opinion. Hell, at this point I just hope whoever they pick makes those of us who don't like him eat crow. Even if it's Pickett. lol

Agree on all points.

Good CB target tomorrow at pick 84 - Coby Bryant. Good 40, big frame, targeted in college because he played opposite Ahmad Gardner so he is used to being the target and did just fine, thank you.

Yes, I stand corrected. My point was there is no way we could get any of the 3 to the practice squad, even if we wanted to because he would have to clear wiavers first.

There are "B" batteries, and "A" batteries for that matter, they are not common and never really took on so manufacturers designed equipment to use those that we're accustomed to.

Great post BTW, Whiskey suites you
https://www.mentalfloss.com/article/12325/why-arent-there-b-batteries; I remember older tube radios that were portable had large batteries - some I think were up to 90 volts - that were simply stacks of smaller 1.5 volt batteries. They were used to generate the needed voltage for the tubes in the pre-transistor days. I thought they were called B batteries at the time.
