Cam Newton injured in car accident

Cam's truck was overturned on a bridge in NC ... just a few blocks from Bank of America Stadium where the Panthers play.

also a sedan involved in the wreck. It was sittign at least 50 feet from the truck.

The severity of Newton’s injuries was not immediately available but witnesses told WSOC that Newton’s truck flipped four times.

Paramedics loaded Newton into and ambulance on a stretcher and rushed him to the hospital.

According to reports he flipped his truck 4 times. That's a bad wreck.

Reports from this area state 2 transverse back fractures (same as Tony Romo) but no internal injuries.

He should be fine...in a while, probably should just let him heal until next season.
