College Bowls and News

Clemson worked it before the half.

I missed tge Sun Bowl today… interesting that Pitt won with all the opt outs… maybe these schools shouldn’t go chasing fools gold in the transfer portal and just stick with the guys learning their system … this mercenary **** is going to reduce the number of guys who come out of nowhere to be great players, because all these pedigree losers who can’t cut it in one program are stealing spots in another… Slovis is a prime example…

UCLA was done when their QB got injured.

Can't wait to see what new ways Clemson can find to leave points on the field in the second half.

Clemson's OC is terrible. First half he's throwing every down. Second half it's all run. Somebody tell this guy you're allowed to mix things up. Too many teams have playcallers who are too young

Who’s whining? It’s an observation of a team’s inability to end the game given multiple opportunities. I’m glad Pitt ultimately won.
You brought up that they didn't deserve to win. How is it that a team that was down by 14 in the second half, and could have easily thrown in the towel, not deserve to win?
Then with about 30 seconds left in the game and down by 1, they could have done the same thing, but they didn't and moved into FG range and won.
I will say that the call to go for it on 4 down, and up by 6, when Hammond put the ball on the ground was the worst option Narduzzi could have made, but these are kids,
playing shorthanded, not giving up and found away to win.

They deserved the W.

Clemson lived on Tennessee’s side of the field and couldn’t score any points. I know part of that was Tennessee getting the job done, but just a terrible job by Clemson’s staff to capitalize. I agree they put way too much on the young QB.

That was their second blown opportunity. Before that they had a 1st and goal at the UCLA 5 with a 3 point lead and 5:00 remaining that resulted in a FG with 4:24 remaining after one run and two incomplete passes.

Who yinz got today? I think it will be Georgia vs. Michigan in the final. I don't think OSU has a chance (but that's why they play the games) and the Michigan-TCU game should be a close game if Michigan can still run as well without Corum. Edwards hand injury should be much better now and I think he'll play without the cast.
