College Football Playoff Thread

IU punter is averaging 29 yards/punt. My kid punted better when he won Punt, Pass and Kick as a 10 year-old.

Not a ND fan but so far IU looks pretty fraudulent as a “top 12” team…they look pretty outclassed

Pretty much played nobody all year and got whooped by the 1 good team they faced, it’s showing how weak that 11-1 was.

No it shows how good this coach is. They're losing to two top 10 teams. IU went from zeros to the cfp in one year. You don't think other players are watching. Next yr probably even better.

Cignetti needs to work on his body language, it doesn't convey composure and confidence to his players.

This game has been whatever the antonym of exciting would be, but I guess the 4th quarter could still salvage things.

You'll see. "da wether made R nipples hard and it did hurted too much to tackles da runn'n back where da hea-der at on da side linze?
i'm glad you believe Knoxville is a tropical climate, filled with palm trees, beaches and everyone walks around drinking drinks with umbrellas.

fact is, the temperature in Knoxville, TN isn't much warmer than it is in Columbus, OH.

Go Big Orange!

What was that? A punt, almost like he doesn't want to be beat by allot for recruiting purposes.

It's a balmy 32 this evening. One of the few weekends I'll be a UT fan.

Really boring game overall.

Indiana may have had a shot if their QB didn't miss so many throws.

Indiana's D actually played OK. They gave up the big run but aside from that, they kept them in the game even though they missed a bunch of tackles.

I don't think ND can beat Georgia. They're not gonna let Riley Leonard sit back there untouched and dump off to a wide open short receiver all game. He'll have to make some downfield throws.

You’d have a point if it weren’t for the fact that the difference is that games played in December or January are no longer assured to be in a dome in Atlanta or warm weather city.

What is Georgia going to do against this defense. Particularly with backup Q.

They'll start by not playing scared for most of the game and complete some forward passes.

I don't think ND's offense will be able to do much against the Georgia defense.

LOL at the announcers now saying how Indiana is a likeable program after spending 10 straight minutes crapping on them and saying they didn't belong.

I'm sure Notre Dame is probably better, but that felt more like Indiana chokingondick than Notre Dame beating the $hit out of them.

You guys can keep telling yourself these things to comfort yourself. ND is a damn good football team. They can run and stop the run and they tackle very well. They are a tough out for anyone.

The Irish looked good tonight. The defense was stellar. I think with Georgia's QB not playing the Irish have a good shot. They should run Leonard a great deal more against Georgia.
