College Football Playoff Thread

Georgia opened as 1.5 favorite over Notre Dame

it's all about which Georgia shows up. If it's the Georgia that's dialed in and beat Texas then ND has no shot. If it's the Georgia that played like crap for half their games, ND can win.

The backup QB for Georgia is an unknown. I believe he's more of a runner. What if Georgia installs a RPO package that they haven't shown on film all year? It can be hard to stop an unknown QB when you don't know his weaknesses.

No it shows how good this coach is. They're losing to two top 10 teams. IU went from zeros to the cfp in one year. You don't think other players are watching. Next yr probably even better.
Yes losing to the ONLY 2 good teams they’ve played all year and beating some tomato cans certainly shows how good the coach is.

Gamecocks woulda beat IU
Bama woulda beat IU
Ole Miss woulda beat IU
Probably about 5-10 other teams too

I’ll say this for Gunner
He came in during a tough situation without prep vs a good D in the SEC championship game (a rather large stage) and led his team to a comeback victory. They weren’t back by much as TX didn’t capitalize on first half opportunities but a comeback victory nonetheless and he definitely sparked the dead in the water offense when he came in.

Definitely a RPO guy

Etienne may have a big game but it will take a big performance from him and the D to keep chugging along

Based upon the interception that Georgia's backup QB threw in the SEC Championship game, I wouldn't be feeling too great. That might have been the worst pass thrown in college football this year. That said, it doesn't look like Beck was much better in that game.

Last night's game was a snoozefest. You could hear Indiana's QB choking.
