That was a bad call.
Not sure will Alabama drop beyond 12 if they should lose? I mean it is Alabama!Bama and Ole Miss both gonna pick up a third loss this week basically knocking them out of the playoffs. Indiana back in play.
If you’re referring to the illegal touching, I agree. Still not sure what they saw to make that call. That was a bad call.
I’ve seen enough of Warren in the shotgun running for nothing. Twice he could have pitched to Singleton for easy first downs and instead opted to run into the pile for no gain. Perhaps he’s reading his own headlines.Tough game for Penn State from a schedule standpoint. This was back to back road games and Minn was coming off a Bye. Minn game them everything they had. Their QB played a really good game. He threw the INT but for the most part he was threading some needles.
The game should not have been that close. Penn State's special teams gave Minn 9 points with the blocked XP returned for 2 and then the blocked punt in the endzone when Penn State's punter held the ball forever. I understand these punters now hold the ball for a bit to allow their coverage unit to run downfield but you can't do that punting out of your endzone.
Another horribly officiated game. Penn State got a gift call on a pass interference, but since they allowed Minn's OL to hold all game, I'm not feeling guilty about that.
Penn State actually hit a deep pass to a WR. Minn probably allowed it out of pure surprise.
Allar was outstanding. He missed 1 deep pass but other than that, he was in command. Made several key plays with his feet, running to move chains, running for a TD and buying time in the pocket. His improved mobility is what will make him a 1st round QB.
Amazing call by James Franklin on the fake punt. He takes a lot of heat for being too conservative but that call took guts. If that gets stopped, Minn gets it nearly in game winning FG range already. They must have seen that on film. That could have cost Penn State a playoff spot if they lost. If Penn State did not make the playoff this year, he would be on a very hot seat going forward.
Penn State appears locked into the 6 seed if they just beat Maryland. Assuming Ohio State beats Michigan next week, it appears that the loser of Oregon vs Ohio state in the Champ game will get the 5 seed.
Ohio State's defense is elite. The only way to beat that defense is with a good QB and multiple big play WRs. Few teams have that.

Kotelnicki’s offense sucks. It’s just a bunch of gimmicks for the most part. Maybe he runs that due to a lack of play making receivers. Either way, they aren’t beating a top 10 team with that garbage.
And people say the NFL is rigged and a joke. Auburn is horrible. What would that look like?ALabama and Ole Miss should be out with loss 3 but I don't think they are. The ESPN SEC hype machine will start to bury Indiana while pretending Florida is now one of the toughest teams in the nation so Ole Miss losing to them means nothing. If Bama wins the Iron Bowl vs Auburn, they still have a shot.

He ran up the score on Indiana. Why/ Because Indiana's coaches and players expressed some confidence? What a bunch of jerks. How dare they think they have a shot to beat might Ohio State!
I'm starting to really dislike Ryan Day. This guy inherited a loaded program and has mostly squandered huge amounts of talent. He had an offense with Stroud, Marvin Harrison, and Garrett Wilson and that wasn't enough.

If that loss does knock Indiana out of the playoff, I hope OSU gets the karma of being eliminated by the team that got into the playoffs instead of Indiana.
Indiana should still make the playoff. Yeah, they were dominated today. My question is, replace them with who? If you replace them with a 2 loss team that has better wins, OK. But a 3 loss team? ESPN will no doubt start pusing all the 3 loss SEC teams like crazy, but they don't deserve it. If you are putting in 3 loss teams over a 1 loss team, you're saying the regular season means nothing. You're just applying the "eye test" which basically means using biased assumptions.
It's shameful how ESPN is pushing Travis Hunter for the Heisman. There's no way he should win it. He's a great player and will be a top 5 pick but he's not really having a special season. It would be one thing if his WR stats were leading that nation, but they're pretty ordinary and that's against weak Big 12 defenses. He's a great CB and is having a good season on defense but not a dominant season.
The Heisman should go to a player who is carrying his team, a statistically dominant season compared to others at his position. Hunter's resume is a decent WR season added to a decent CB season. That should not be enough to win a Heisman.
Let's say hypothetically Notre Dame loses to USC and Bama wins the plastic bowl. Bama is in with three loses and Notre Dame is out with two? C'mon that just looks dumb. They don't care what it looks like. They kept putting 2 SEC teams into a 4 team BCS. They'll try to get 6 SEC teams in a 12 team playoff. They're talking up South Carolina now like they're unstoppable. Next rankings will be interesting. We'll see how far Indiana falls.

I was more impressed with Minnesota’s offensive line. They got away with some holding, but all in all they did a good job.I was convinced Penn State was going to lose that game. I’m impressed with Minnesota’s QB.
It’s remarkable that Ohio State has an entire stable of excellent WR’s year after year, yet Penn State can’t get one guy. No, we get Liam Clifford.Drew Allar looks good at times but when this season is over - which will likely be in the first playoff game - I sit down with Franklin and tell him either I get a standout receiver or I'm entering the transfer portal.
Yes, yes, this is good. Embrace the hate.I'm starting to really dislike Ryan Day. This guy inherited a loaded program and has mostly squandered huge amounts of talent. He had an offense with Stroud, Marvin Harrison, and Garrett Wilson and that wasn't enough.

Not to mention that Kaytron Allen didn't see the field until the 3rd quarter.I’ve seen enough of Warren in the shotgun running for nothing. Twice he could have pitched to Singleton for easy first downs and instead opted to run into the pile for no gain. Perhaps he’s reading his own headlines.

Any 3 loss team that makes the playoffs is a joke.with 3 ranked SEC teams getting loss #3, Notre Dame is in unless they get blown out by USC. Auburn just beat Texas A&M so they'll be talked up as world beaters heading into the Bama game. I would not be surprised if they put Bama (or another 3 loss SEC team) in ahead of a 2 loss ACC or Big 12 team.
Not to mention that Kaytron Allen didn't see the field until the 3rd quarter.
Penn State came out with no urgency nor any respect for Minni, all these gadget plays and being cute in the first half. Special teams damn near cost them the game. The asshat left Tackle that stayed in his stance with his arm in the air, didn't even try to block. As a Penn State fan, I wanted this loss so I could see Franklin's *** shown the door. He scolds Allar on the sideline, then goes over to make sure he smooths it over, and then calls him over and gives him the post game presser. What a *****.
Football has turned into a joke.Any 3 loss team that makes the playoffs is a joke.
The first half was a joke I agree. Did they even try to get Warren the ball? And those stupid trick plays where you move 3 guys then hand it off to Allen up the gut. Just stop.
Allar did pull it together after that time out incident though.
I was worried he was done.
Football has turned into a joke.
It’s all $$$ now.
The big conferences will prosper. It’s about whichever NIL donor will $$$. 3 losses but your marketing is $$$ you’re in.
This is coming from an SEC alum as well.
