Is their o line intact from last year? That's where it all begins and ends as we know.

The OTs are the same but the interior is different. They lost a very good C Juice Scruggs to the NFL. In the offseason, the starting G Landon Tengwell had to medically retire from football. In this game vs Northwestern, they lost another G to injury early in the game. They also lost a good blocking TE Brenton Strange and 2 god blocking WRs Parker Washington and Mitchell Tinsley to the NFL.

Th OL has been good but not great as was hoped. Jake Butt was game analyst for the NW game and he pointed out that the big runs weren't coming because the OL is giving the RB creases and not holes. They are having to sneak through creases and break arm tackles near the line and that makes it tough to get big runs.

I'm hoping that the Bye allows for more drill work.
