Again, Colbert did a great job drafting and extending worthy players under Cowher. With Tomlin both of those areas have fallen drastically. The only common denominator unless Colbert suddenly became a blithering idiot is Tomlin. Honestly, some of you think Tomlin is only responsible for the good games. We won a Super Bowl six years ago, so clearly he's a fantastic coach. We've slid into mediocrity and missed are 16-17 since the 2010 playoffs, clearly that's due to injuries and refs and stupid players not listening to Tomlin's brilliance.

Franco brings up an important point, though. Our entire personnel strategy changed in 2007. Suddenly we began spending early picks on 4-3 specific players like Hood, Timmons, Davis, Worilds, Heyward, Woodley, etc. Haven't made any effort to find anything close to a 3-4 NT. Haven't touched CBs early which Cowher did pretty frequently. I'm sure it's a coincidence. Colbert suddenly got a hardon for 4-3 Tampa-2 prospects the very moment we hired a coach who has always run a 4-3 Tampa-2, and that our draft strategy changed entirely in 2007.

Enjoy the mediocrity and lazy effort. I have never once called for Tomlin to be fired, his stupidity and verbal diarrhea is entertaining in its own right. Let the guy hang himself, he's doing a fine job of it.
