Yeah, the issue has always been Tomlin’s default conservative nature. Tall wideouts and Te are used to get jump balls in the end zone. And those are extremely risky throws… he prefers a low percentage fade to the sidelines that is hard to intercept but also very hard to complete..

They basically play for the field goal too much

Which is ironic because I recently read something or watched a video with Tomlin talking about not leaving time on the clock and missed opportunities for points and going for TDs instead of FGs and I just laughed. What he says and what he’s shown to do over the last few years are not the same.

I just want to point out I had Tune rated as a 2nd round pick on my big board. Thought the Cards gotta steal with him Seems like they feel the same.
 
I used to watch the Steelers with colt McCoy's aunt and her husband. She was a real nice lady, and reasonably hot.
 
It’s a shame that colt Mccoy was drafted by the Browns… instant kiss of death for his career… if tge Browns had drafted Ben, he’d have been a bust and been out of the league by year six lol… they have talent vampires in that stadium…

Or maybe they may actually keep him as a Fullback, and emergency backup guard. Also Dotson had trade value, Green does not.

Hopefully Washington opens up alot of options near the goal line whether it be blocking or a jump ball. Guy looks like the perfect matchup nightmare for a DC
 
McCollum gets cut all but sealing Green's spot on the roster. Hopefully not, though but McCollum was one of the potential backup C's.
 
Are the actual Steeler cuts to the 53 out yet?

Likely scenario is Gentry's getting cut, C Heyward will get 3rd TE spot, and Green will get the FB spot. Green isn't as bad a guard as he is a Center, I think they'll keep him as a FB but also a player who can step in and play as a emergency.

They have Heyward listed as a TE and as a FB. Just because he's listed as a TE doesn't mean he can't take hand offs out the backfield or being listed as a FB line up as a TE and catch passes. They can literally have both players on the field at the same time.

I'm not 100% sure about the film study clause the Cardinals apparently wanted in Murray's contract. But if they felt they needed that clause, they should have just stepped away from him at that point. Any QB not willing to put in the work isn't worth a roster spot let alone a huge contract.
