Releasing Gentry is a ballsy move with Washington being a rookie and all, but it shows you they trust him… I figured the only way we moved on from Gentry is if we got an offer for him… he does have 26 starts… more than Muth…

Gentry is a good blocker and a decent receiver. I'd be shocked if someone doesn't pick him up.

Gentry is a shock. But they had tough decisions on the dline. Shows they are very comfortable with Washington.
I kinda figured Gentry might get cut because the way Washington & Heyward's been playing he'd end up being the 4th string TE, so probably best for both sides for him to start somewhere new. But this should expand Heyward's role alot more this season too.

If i was gambling Id say Gentry isn’t eligible for waivers and the eagles are going to IR someone tomorrow to open up a spot, then we will resign Gentry… that or its player for player…
