You are what's wrong with this country. You capitulated in the face of truth and accurate reporting. Your original article in your paper was correct. An African American man targeted White cops. Purposefully, with the intent to kill based on the color of skin. There's nothing more complex to it than that. Period. No interpretation needed. No subtitles required.
Dallas was no different than the Mississippi Burning killings. They were both racially motivated killings based on nothing more than the color of skin. Period.
But you...you capitulate. For you to provide any justification, any sense, any reason to this hatred, racist filled series of assassinations is sinful. It makes you part of the evil undermining the fabric of this country. In a time like this, one must be a man and stand up, black or white, and call these crimes what they are. Racist, hate filled crimes. Like Obama refusing to call Islamic terrorism...Islamic terrorism...you refuse to address this as a racist-fueled series of assassinations.
How do you sleep at night? Do you have children? Grandchildren? Your editorial softened the blow of the greatest single day of law enforcement life since 9/11. As if to justify it. To "understand it."
There is NO rationalizing the assassinations of police officers by a racist man filled with hate. None. To even attempt to rationalize it, to understand it, is inhuman. May the ire directed at you and your paper continue, unabated, until you are looking for a job and your paper ceases to exist. You are off the rails. You are symbolic of this failing, eroding nation.
We need less of the sort of reason you print.
