Pittsburgh Steelers: Kevin Johnson, CB, Wake Forest
Cortez Allen was so bad against the Colts that he was actually trending on Twitter. Ike Taylor, meanwhile, was miserable in his return from injury. The Steelers are in desperate need of help at the cornerback position, and they're getting a prospect who fits their scheme well.

We are so desperate at CB (and OLB, NT, SS, DE)

They should draft one RB and the rest of the picks used on defense.

why? keep Ben Tate then use all the picks on defense.

"No, ALL the picks should be for the running back."

rnd 1 SS Landon Collins Bama or CB Trai Waynes
rnd 2 CB Jalen Collins LSU or SS Anthony Harris Virgina
rnd 3 LB/DE Danielle Hunter Louisville
rnd 4 TE
rnd 5 CB Laderius Gunter Miami
rnd 6 DE/DT Ray Drew Georgia
rnd 7 LB

Nah we'll sign some cfl guys and find some tweener in the draft that runs fast.

rnd 1 SS Landon Collins Bama

I'd love to see a Bama player on this roster, but Landon is a better version of Mike Mitchell or Shamarko. If we go Safety in the first, we need a ball hawk. Ha Ha Clinton Dix was better in that dept.

then SS Harris or the Louisville S in the 2nd instead

crimonsteel if if Collinss is a better version of Mitchell and Shamarko he will likely be as good as Matt Elam of the Ravens and that should be a huge upgrade over troy, so we can go SS rnd 1 and cb rnd 2 @4 or 5 and
the pot for CB is
rnd 1 Waynes
rnd 1 Johnson
rnd 2 PJ Williams
rnd 2 Alex Carter
rnd 2 Jalen Collins
rnd 2 Byron Jones
rnd 2 Alex Carter

SS
rnd 1 Collins
rnd 2 Harris
rnd 2Mills
rnd 2-3 SS from Louisville

Just for the record, Matt Elam is not good

Have no problem with a corner in 1 if the value is there. Looks like that might be a round 2 and 3 value, but who knows who is sitting there.

did you like Dick do you still like Dick?

from what I read I think he liked Dick but then Dick got old ..I don't think he likes old Dick

Don't ignore the TE position. Heath is all we've got right now and he is no spring chicken.

true if the value is there

but lets say if the value is similar between a TE OLBer SS CB

in this scenario I think you have to go OLBer/CB/SS until those needs are met unless the TE value is clearly greater.....................

He should probably not pay so much attention to Dick and move onto the deflated balls everyone is talking about.

They should draft one RB and the rest of the picks used on defense.

Need some TE help too. Heath is getting up there in age. Nothing early, maybe 4-5th round look for a TE. The rest of the picks should be on the defensive side of the ball.

We need cb,ss,olb..bad. Getting to the qb on a constant basis should be objective no.1 on defense. Stuffing the run is next. In fact i hope the whole team is busting *** with strength&conditioning this off season.

I thought Butler was going to solve about 75% of the defensive issues simply by "Using players as they ought to be used."

Why do we need to draft an early round CB? With Worilds getting 20+ sacks a season we should see an immediate improvement in our secondary. Obviously the sharper-witted Butler can figure out how to use the amazing talent on this ridiculously deep Steeler bench and put forth a top 5 defense while we continue to focus on the real weakness on the team... the offense.

Antonio and the receiving corps aren't getting any younger. Clearly we need RB help. Some extra TE's wouldn't hurt. An ENTIRE OL overhaul is needed.

Nah, Butler's got this, right POP?

I can't wait for Butler to sit all those old players and play the young guys. I'm sure he'll bench Timmons, McClendon, Gay, and W.Allen, I can't wait to see all the rookies and 2nd year players that Butler puts on the field next year.
