Its some spoiled muthafuckas around here....we get it....
over the past two seasons we've lost to injury, Ben, Ike, Polamalu, Harrison, Woodley, Foote, Brown (two seasons back), Sanders, Heath, Pouncey, DeCastro....i hate to calculate what number of missed games that amounts to.(hell we even lost some depth players to injuries the past couple seasons)......Injuries factor into how well a team does (What team loses that many pro-bowl caliber starters and still makes the postseason or wins a superbowl ?)....especially with consistent shuffling on the oline and having to readjust and trash a scheme you wanted to implement at the beginning of the season. Thats not easy but we came on at the end.
Injuries factor...damn right they do....just ask the Texans...went from playoff qualifier to the number one pick...IN ONE SEASON !!!! Atlanta ????
Those that dont like Tomlin, didnt like him when he was hired (for a few theres the Negro association factor, though theyll never openly admit it), for others that dont for other reasons, will still never like him even if he wins two more Super Bowls....they just dont like his interactions with players. "He aint spittin so he aint really coachin...........". And the chest bumpin comment is bullshit....Pete Carroll bumps with the best of em.
Im hopeful the momentum from last year continues...started 0-4 and still came close (missed KC kick) to makin postseason.
So, this Tomlin argument is far past old.....the verdicts of the fans are set...either you like him or you hate him and nothin that happens within the next 32-64 games will change that.
