Yeah. Exactly. Have I argued against that? You mean like when Cowher was coach?
Or like Vrabel seems to be doing in NE, Lafleur has done in GB.....that sorta thing?

1. Deuce isn't going to fire his father's Rooney Rule hire no matter what.If they are not keeping him around for the win total please name a legitimate reason.one damn good reason…
Cuz he’s been trending upward-definitely not
Since he’s a great team builder- definitely not
Since he’s developing talent- definitely not
Since he’s so close to a SB- definitely not
It is not far fetched at all to assume that is what Art has in mind as his crowning achievement since he won’t be adding a Lombardi to the case..
Many times the most obvious reason is the reason and OBVIOUSLY the win total threshold argument makes far more sense than any other…the people
That have asserted that just may be right…I’d say it’s quite likely the plan
I think that black and white, and nothing in between, attitude is just a reflection of today's society. It's everywhere on the internet, not just in Steeler Nation debates about Tomlin.I'll say another thing. I remember the debates on Cowher well, especially after 2004. I do not recall this level rage against people who disagreed one way or the other. The second anything is said that is even misconstrued as a defense of Tomlin, look out. If you aren't blaming him for every damn evil in the world or agreeing with every accusation against him, regardless of how stupid, well, hell, you support him. It's bullshiit.
No.Is Mike self aware enough to realize that the game has passed by his archaic, inept concepts of a scheme?
You're funny. Is Mike willing to put in the work to get better?
Is Mike is too scared to take a chance?
At least we know where you stand goofy and perhaps since day one. Im black by the way and would totally understand if the Steelers were to let Tomlin walk especially if he has a losing season. He perhaps needs a change of scenery although i would hope he would just retire or be promoted to a front office job. Im not that feels like the organization owes him anything after a loss season. The organization has been good to him and he would never argue different. His watch will have ended and it is what it is.1. Deuce isn't going to fire his father's Rooney Rule hire no matter what.
2. He looks at the "no losing seasons" record and thinks that's good enough, not realizing that much of the fan base uses it as a punchline.
3. Black fans, who make up the majority of the Tomlin Fan Club, will be screaming "Rayciss!!!". The only possible reason for firing a coach who's never had a losing record over 18 seasons. Or firing the coach who's only had one losing record over 19 seasons.
4. The OG Art Rooney was not a football guy and the team under him was mostly bad. Dan Rooney WAS a football guy and the team under him was pretty good. Deuce is a lawyer and not a football guy and under him the team is getting steadily worse.
Best they will do is not extend his contract. We have two years to go. Deuce doesn't pay people to sit at home and not work.

I guarantee if they had a white head coach with the same lousy playoff record that most of the black fans would want him fired. At least we know where you stand goofy and perhaps since day one. I do believe hes a good coach, but if his philosophy isnt going to change about the way he goes about doing things and he refuses to endorse the hiring of a motivated, fresh defensive mind who is well able to coordinate this defense on his own then he needs to be gone.
That being said im really tired of bigots like you constantly referring to Tomlins longevity as being falsely attributed to him being a "Rooney Rule" or "DEI" hire. You couldn't come off being more ignorant and biased. It wasnt a problem when two white coaches leaked into double digit years despite enduring periods of struggle especially in the latter part of their careers, but its a problem now.
The two white coaches were here a long time because the organization valued loyalty, stability, and family/team culture. Tomlin is around because he is a "Rooney Rule" or "DEI" hire. You dont see a problem with saying stuff like that?? Its the irony of claiming black people would scream "rayciss" all while spewing racist rhetoric throughout your own take.
