Elizabeth Warren, a senator from Massacheutes in her late 60's who passed at the chance to run for President has shamed herself! She was warned of the rules in advance but chose to violate them anyway. She was found guilty of impugning another senator.

If politics becomes name calling and impugning on the Senate floor, the process will be worse. Congratulations to Warren for being silenced and shame on you!

Also, you can explain to the left why you voted for Ben Carson.

Senate Votes To Gag Elizabeth Warren After Anti-Sessions Outburst

Following a scathing speech against Trump's nominee for Attorney General, Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell said Senator Elizabeth Warren had "impugned the motives and conduct of our colleague from Alabama," violating the so-called 'Rule 19'.

"Sen. Warren was giving a lengthy speech. She had appeared to violate the rule. She was warned. She was given an explanation," he said after the vote. "Nevertheless, she persisted."

By a vote of 49-43, Senator Warren was then barred from speaking on the floor until Senator Sessions nomination debate is complete (likely tomorrow evening)

Reality check!

The GOPs silencing of Elizabeth Warren is a brutal reality check for Democrats

Social media is aflame with the news that Senate Republicans voted Tuesday night to silence Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) from speaking out about attorney general nominee Jeff Sessions, after Warren had the temerity to read aloud from a letter by the widow of Martin Luther King Jr. that castigated Sessions’s history on voting rights. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) defended the move by claiming that Warren had “impugned the motives and conduct of our colleague from Alabama.”...

But the point is, Republicans don’t care what message this sends. And herein lies the way in which this whole episode symbolizes the unsettling broader reality that Democrats face right now. Warren was shut down from speaking by Republicans who employed an arcane Senate rule; Democrats are shut out of power, and Republicans will use any and all procedural means at their disposal to render them as powerless and irrelevant as possible. And Republicans see no reason to fear any political repercussions from whatever message any of it sends.

But Democrats are going to be shut up. They are going to be shut out. They are going to lose. A lot. And it’s going to be dispiriting and difficult.

So the chickens have come home to roost. This all goes back to the Dems ramming down Obamacare in the middle of night and then claiming elections have consequence. Now they even have the "Harry Reid Rule" coming to bite them where majority wins. Hey Dems, you wanted it...now eat it.

I think she's 1/32 native American and 31/32 John Smith

Let her be the poster child for the new Democrat leadership, everyone is getting tired of these screaming lunatics.

Besides, this stunt was all about the money, Liz is counting on donations for her senate run.

It's all a shell game to look important in the eyes of snowflakes and white people who hate being white.

And the irony in Christian fascist Cruz doing the same thing to McConnell in 2015, yet Repugnicans did not invoke the same rule........hypocrites much?

What's even worse is a woman doing it...it must eat at those racist/misogynists to no end.

As the exchange spread on social media, some were quick to point out that McConnell was recently the target of a personal attack on the Senate floor. In 2015, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) accused him of lying to his colleagues and the press, saying “he is willing to say things that he knows are false.” There was no Rule 19 invocation then.

So they do know how to vote. At some point I'd like to see a headline about them voting on some serious legislation. Trump can't do everything and take all the heat with executive orders. WTF do they do all day?

Politics is a full contact sport. If she can't take it, she needs to get out of the wigwam.

I think CNN is going to explode soon. Or pull a Jonestown massacre and commit mass suicide.
