Dang,

I've liked his play and if a no go, will be missed.

Salute the nation

What the hell are they doing over there. Been a helluva lot of soft tissue injuries in general and hamstring injuries specifically this year. And this year is just a continuation of the soft tissue injuries that have occurred over the last 3-4 years.

Elliot has been an upside performer this season.

Rowe did a good job last season in a limited replacement role....hopefully he can step up for a game or two if needed.

I'd expect he won't play this weekend. Tough loss, he's had a really good year.

If I were a player, I would hire my own strength and conditioning assistant, and not allow the quacks employed by the Steelers within 50ft of me. Might even get a restraining order.

I’ve noticed that there is an uptick in hamstring injuries league wide. It is unfortunate that it’s happening right now for 2 of our most impactful players.

I've argued that Elliot has been the second best player on the defense. Now Heyward has been a monster for the last however many. But I still think there is argument to be made that Elliot has been the most consistent. Like has there been a game where he hasn't made an impact?

Kazee should take the spot, this could allow minkah to switch with him between FS and SS

How can Tomlin allow all of these soft tissue injuries in December. This must be the last straw. Fire Tomlin.

Where are my sopping wet vaginas? Anything positive to say about Coach of the Year Mike Tomlin?

Of course not, he gets all of the blame but none of the credit from you mouth breathing cum receptacles.

I think the problem is guys who never had such injuries and being pros with big heads don't do due diligence with their stretching etc.

It's impossible to tell if it's a lack of conditioning or the lack of recovery. Everyone should be in great shape right now after playing so many games.

I would think muscle imbalances would be identified in the offseason and addressed. It's a very explosive game. We're talking going all out 100% output. There's a certain amount of recovery that goes into and everyone recovers differently. The older you are the slower that process is.

I will be shocked if they make it through 3 games in 11 days without a bunch of issues. That's crap for recovery time between games. Which will lead to more injuries.

I believe the Chiefs are playing 3 games in 11 days as well, I just saw them bitching about it the other day.

Whomever made that schedule is an asshat.

I dont pretend to know how the Pros train but even in High School and College, when the Temp fluctuates from 50s to 20s trainers want you to spend more time stretching out those hammys. I am sure at the pro level the Trainers are all over it.

The Ravens also have 3 games in 11 days... they also were less than thrilled with it... Christmas football should not be a thing

Our genius strength and conditioning coaches likely have Wilson pushing the sled double time in preparation for the playoffs.

Actually keeping them warm and moving is the most critical. When you stop moving and cool down, everything starts to tighten up.

Stretching doesn't prevent injury,it certainly helps with ROM, but keeping the blood flow going in and warm are of the highest importance.

That's why you never stretch cold muscles that haven't been properly warmed up. Which you will see the players dynamically warming up pregame, before heading into a stretching routine, you even see some PNF partner assisted stretching.

The injuries that are a ***** to recover from and operate at a high level with explosiveness are hamstrings, calves, gluteal, adductor s,piriformis and external oblique.

I've managed to personally jack these up over the years and had many clients who did as well.
