Emmanuel Sanders on Roethlisberger

"This is the first time that I’ve had a quarterback that every single day after practice — no matter what his accolades, NFL MVP, Super Bowl ring"

How many rings does Peyton have? I can't remember.....FU Manny, you are now the enemy. Sharknado is gonna blow him up in the AFC championship game and I'm gonna laugh.

He is gone. Who cares. He's like the rest of them.

You are either for us, or you are against us. That simple.

Saying Payton Manning is a better QB than anyone is not exactly a slap in the face. He's a first ballot Hall of Famer, no questions asked.

One of the great comments below the article was water is wet. The kid is putting a positive spin on his new home. He thinks Manning is a better leader, no **** so do I. Ben may grow into that role but he has never been the stay after practice and study film guy that manning is. This year however he did spend some extra time with his wide outs, so that is a positive trend.

I mean it's not like he said Geno Smith or Blane Gabbert is better.

He didn't say anything particularly ground breaking. Manning is the best in those areas in the league, hardly a knock on Roethlisberger.

Sanders is just hyping his new quarterback obviously he's going to say how much better Manning is. But I don't think anyone is mad about Sanders leaving except that it should have been to the patriots last year lol

Given Roethlisberger has had this reputation since he entered the league, this really isn't shocking, but to hear a former teammate come out and directly allude to it rather interesting.

Hey Manny, how about you catch that ************* 2 point conversion in Baltimore that hit you right in your ******* hands, and maybe we're talking about last years playoff run, ya ****.

Joe

He seemed to imply that Roethlisberger doesn't consistently put in the extra work, which reflects what has been said over the years pertaining to him putting in the minimum that's asked of him during the week, but little more.

There definitely seemed to be some subtle criticism there, at least more than merely praising Peyton.

‪#‎NFLTrainingCamp‬*Day 5: All off-season I've said Big Ben is a first ballot hall-of-famer. You don't get close to the hall-of-fame without great leadership skills. Don't let anyone gas you up and make you think I was taking a shot at anyone. Not my style..

It seems that Sanders has majored in PR damage control 101.

"I didn't say what I apparently said. I'm classier than that."

Maybe after a game or 2, he can come back and let us know who's passes are easier to drop.

"I feel like Peyton is a far better leader." Yeah sorry, that sounds exactly like a shot at Ben's leadership skills. Which sucks because Sanders was given every opportunity to succeed. To try and pin his lack of production on Ben in any way shape or form is delusional. Ben can't teach you how to catch, maybe Peyton can. And I liked the guy.

WHATEVER Manning is only a 1st ballot hall of famer b/c of stats, based on how many afctG @afc Div games he has played at home and if he leaves with just 1 ring all those stats wont matter when has 2 or another ring with less stats when its time for the HOF.

Dan Marino didn't seem to have a problem getting in on stats alone. Manning has one more Championship than Dan.

I'm not sure that's anything that we didn't know. He's always been a "gamer" and is the least of the Steelers problems.

it's OK Manny, we can say the same thing about AB compared to you. No comparison. Door. ***. No hard feelings.

He did take a shot at Ben. If you read his statement, he implies that he wanted to work with Ben after practice to get better and Ben would blow him off. This was more about him making excuses for his so far ****** career.

If what he is saying has any truth to it, then that shot is well deserved.

Manning is hall of fame and a great QB. Who cares...say he's a great leader, say he's a great QB, say you love working with him...saying he's a "far better leader" after 5 days of training camp makes you look like an ***-kissing back-stabbing excuse-making butthole.
