If what he is saying has any truth to it, then that shot is well deserved.
He's worked with Manning all of 5 days.

My comment there had less to do with Manning and more to do with Ben. If it's true that Steeler WR's frequently approached Ben and wanted to put in extra work with him and he blew them off, that is deserving of criticism for being a lousy leader. I don't know that it is true, I'm just saying.
Lance Moore handled his signing with the Steelers with more class. He showed respect for both Brees and Ben. That's the way it should be. Not that my new wife of five days is a better wife than my ex of 4 years. Maybe it's true, but how can you make that true comparison so soon unless there is a little malice underlined there.
He did take a shot at Ben. If you read his statement, he implies that he wanted to work with Ben after practice to get better and Ben would blow him off. This was more about him making excuses for his so far ****** career.
My guess is the entire comment was designed mostly to kiss Peyton's ***, not to put down Ben at all, unfortunately for Sanders it was worded incredibly stupidly. You don't trash the people who helped make you. Would Sanders even be a blip on the radar screen on many NFL teams? Like I said, I liked the guy and thought he had potential, but he was hardly an elite playmaker. Ben helped make him. A bit of gratitude for that might be nice.
I understand wanting the extra time but past the halfway point, do you really want your QB doing the extra throws, just to get a receiver caught up to speed?
I wouldn't be surprised if he has a career year. They throw a lot and Manning spreads the ball around a lot.
He said this same stuff when he got picked up by the Broncos back during the start of free agency, why is it news again? Certainly can't wait until preseason games start, this offseason has been too damn long.
Steve Weinberg (Sanders’ agent) originally accepted a deal that would have sent Sanders to the Kansas City Chiefs. Weinberg then tried to use the Chiefs deal as leverage in negotiations with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, before eventually blowing off both teams and agreeing to terms with the Broncos. The San Francisco 49ers were also left in the dust, believing they had a meeting lined up with Weinberg. Weinberg is no stranger to shady business, as NFL.com notes the NFLPA barred and decertified the agent in 2003 for diverting assets to an offshore account while having a dispute with a former partner. Lying to three NFL teams seems like a surefire way to get barred once again.
Sharknado is gonna blow him up in the AFC championship game and I'm gonna laugh.
He had 67 catches and 6 TD's last year......and 1 fumble (3 career fumbles). I still don't get what rubs so many people the wrong way.
He also had several KEY drops, like the 2 pt conversion attempt against the ravens. Sanders problem is he has poor body control, falls down too easily. He runs good routes, has decent hands, but the body control, lack of after the catch ability. He's fast, but can't adjust to the ball when he's going all out. He doesn't have the footwork. You won't see him make the "wow" play, just the ho hum play. Very inconsistent player. He just never lived up to his potential while he was here. Didn't have the same work ethic as Brown does...
And for the record, the young money crew was started with Wallace, Sanders, and Brown...
