Emmanuel Sanders on Roethlisberger

Two games in, Sanders is still without a single target, let alone a catch. Does he make the final 53 at all?

he predictably sat yesterdays game out. good friend of mine is a big bronco fan, he was all sorts of excited about them signing him earlier this summer. i told him just wait and set the over/under for time it was going to take him to miss a game at week 4. yesterday doesn't count, but i still feel good about my chances.

Not to mention Manning is no spring chicken, eventually there will be a drop off one way or another.............

There is no denying that Manning's arm is far, far weaker than it used to be. By the playoffs this past January he was really heaving some dead ducks. He has been able to compensate by throwing with ever greater anticipation, but at some point soon it might become too weak to overcome.

Manning is a better QB than Ben? Do we file that under "no ****, Sherlock"?

I take the current Ben over Pineapple head, today. Manning is declining and just fully so, age / injury. Still prepares as one of the best, but physicality is his demise. I'm hearing the other poster(s) on emanual being healthy a full season. Not likely.

Considering he set all sorts of records last year, I'm not sure I'm buying the "he's in decline" argument solely based on his age and injury history

Ben > Peyton

The only "elite" QBs I put ahead of Ben are Rodgers and Brees.

That was also the most talented team he's ever been on. Both offensively and defensively, and that's saying a whole lot.

I'd take Sanchez over Ben...he's kicking *** in Philly

Do you live in Artesian, if not, are you drinking the water from there? stirstirstirstir

I am hearing what you are saying, but he is another year older. I'm thinking he won't have near the year this year as last. No, I do not have any scientific formula or proof, but feel it will be hard to duplicate. If Pineapple had won the super bowl last year, I think he would have retired, similar to Jerome Bettis' last two years.
