With last weeks loss, what do you guys think the scene at Heinz Field will be like on Monday night? I sure as hell hope its a packed and rocking house going crazy, but I'm expecting a quiet crowd with alot of yellow seats in the picture.

Normally for a Monday night game I'd say the people will be there. But Monday Night doesn't have the same allure it once did. And the Texans aren't a sexy opponent. Mix in a crappy Steeler team and you may be right, some people may stay away. At least this matchup isn't as bad as the Nov. 17th Monday nighter in Tennessee. That's going to be a real must not see ticket.

It'll be raucous, I tells ya! Raucous!

( . . . .raucous like a rest home library)

Usually Tennessee has a big Steeler fan showing. Tickets for that game are way more than for any other titans game left on the schedule. Just checked today actually.

Check the prices again when the Steelers are 4-6 and the Titans are 2-7 or 3-6 going into that game.

I hope to see fans with bags over their heads if it's another abysmal performance. Bags over fans heads on national TV is the ultimate embarrassment for an owner. Maybe then it might get through Rooney's thick skull that a major overhaul needs to happen.

I hope it is empty so that it is just one more incentive for the owners to **** can the joke of a coaching staff.

Many of the season ticket holders are very casual fans. The weather has a bigger impact on turn out than how the Steelers are playing. It's primarily a social event for them.

It'll be packed unless they get behind.

More curious about Steeler Nation at away games. Not much to be proud about these days, so hopefully that tradition of traveling well won't fade away.

Did you say "Packing from behind?" Maybe that's what the coaching staff has been up to at half time!!!

Salute the nation

This is such a sad but true statement.

You may have the local fans going but I bet the out of downers that have to pay through the nose at stub hub will cancel. This team had great support in Carolina and Jacksonville and you see how they play. They deserve to see an empty stands with a lot of Houston fans. Waken up Rooney's Tomlin has lost this team and they are less than mediocre.

I turned down 2 tickets. Half off the face value I might add. I'm done until the debacle of Tomlin ends.

This has nothing to do with the team and everything to do with the NFL these days ..

Most people have the HD Tv's and it is cheaper to watch at home instead of going to the game -- the NFL keeps saying they are trying to make the experience for the fan better -- Higher seat prices / higher prices on Beer , soda , coffee and other refreshments.. And people having to work or go to school the next day makes it an easier choice to stay home ..

Too many people are disillusioned with the NFL these days == I use to watch more games -- this Sunday I only watched the Steelers -- pitiful as it was ... but I had no urge to watch any of the other games .

that is what I think anyway

The Steeler faithful may not love the team right now, but they never turn down an opportunity to drink heavily, grill copious amounts of meat, play cornhole, and yell and scream at the Stillers (good and bad) during a night game. The place will be rocking and Gold towels twirling.

oh yeah...**** Houston

If they get down by more than 7 that place will empty out faster than a keg of IC Light on nickel beer night.

Quite true. Although we live south of Baltimore we usually make ate least 1 game a year. Last year we skipped them all and we're thinking of getting rid of the Colts tickets and the parking pass. Just hate to spend big bucks to watch bad entertainment.

It is true that a lot of people would rather watch on TV. I'll never understand that. I wish I was back in the burgh right now. Ticket prices as spike said are pretty good for Monday.

After last seasons 2-6 start, my wife's friends husband asked me if I was interested in buying any of his tickets at face value. I respectfully declined. This year I may be less respectful.

I go to games if the team is good or bad. But as far as price goes, I'm buying the cheap tickets. Someone was on here selling tickets for like 75 a piece for the Houston game. You can get them on stub hub for 45 right now.
