I’ve got no problem with people calling out liars and corruption. For the leftist or the right. Are you seriously trying to say Trump didn’t lie nonstop during his presidency? I guess he’s getting called out now too. To be honest I think all the politicians are corrupt liars. Right or left.

I'll bet this raid ends up not even being about any investigation. It seems like its just about the National Archives wanting the documents that were suppose to be turned over to them, Trump refusing to turn them all over, so the government came and retrieved them.

Using govt agencies as a weapon against foes
Disregarding proper procedure and rights
Using judges that are on payroll for other side
Not allowing attorneys the right to observe

Our country is a much different place than it was even 10 years ago but my folks go back to the 1920s and I was extremely fortunate that they caught me up to speed with how great this country was before the 60s. Granted their parents probably told them how much better the country was at the turn of the century but whatever timeline you use, we are way off the tracks as a country. I have no idea how the perception is from the Great White North and please don't take offense but I don't really give a rats ***
What I do care about is my country. I could give less than a **** about what we call our government these days. We all know they are in it for themselves but twist the language to appeal to the majority of the voters to stay in power. It's a simple premise.
I don't think anyone here puts Trump on a pedestal. I do think that those who support him appreciated his break from the same old, same old BS we have known as the US Govt for most of our lives. Forever I remember people wanting a non politician to be President. We finally got that and he did his best to flip the table the establishment types had set so beautifully since the late 50s. So excuse us for trying to support the one and only president who was not part of the big club....If you have any doubt of the influence of the Big Club, you can see it now with what's going down just as easily as you could see it during HW Bush's funeral when the sitting President was ostracized by the establishment's presidents....
Should he have been more presidential? Hell no!! Should regular people have noticed what he was up against trying to bring back the establishment down to size? Hell FN yes!
I'd imagine the establishment types or anyone who does business with them or is just flat out ignorant concerning American History or is overly sensitive or cannot see the veil being pulled over their eyes might disagree and that's fine. It used to be a free country, I used to be able to disagree. You all have done amazing work in a short amount of time.
I thought my folks were nuts when they told me the US would be a communist country by the time I retired. Once again, they were right.

Let me ask you this, although I don't expect that you'll answer. If, when, the Republicans regain both houses, will you be OK if they pursue pointless inquests against a prominent Democrat (fill in the blank) for years on end? My opinion is that the petulant children in Congress need to quit blustering because their feeling are hurt and actually do their job.

You know Sarge,I am just a simple observer. Reading that article I just posted I had to have a chuckle. Been in construction all my life. You don’t get to where Trump is in real estate and construction without breaking or bending many laws. You exaggerate the numbers for many projects,and downplay the numbers at the same time. People would have to be simpletons not to think he or any other business people in his tax bracket haven’t done multiple shady deals to get to where they are.
Rightly or wrongly it just doesn’t matter. There is a witch-hunt out on your former president. I mean ,seriously. It was pretty predictable. He just alienated too many people during his 4 years. Many of them on his own side. People with clout. I think people forget how brutal some of his comments were. It’s now his turn to get **** upon. It’s not going to stop.
Politics are something else. Not just in America. In my Canada,and the rest of the world,all I seem to read about are huge divisions. I would think the job of a politician would be to make their country a better place to live in for all.
Yet all I ever read about is finger pointing. Nobody ever seems to answer real questions anymore. There is just a dance.
Blaming the other side for this and that. Never doing anything about it. Never any compromise where both parties shove aside their differences for the better of the people. I could go on and on.
Simple question. If Trump really did take boxes of whatever from the White House that he shouldn’t have and there was undisputed evidence that he did were the actions taken warranted?
If the situation was exactly reversed.....do you not think he would have done the same to Biden? Probably would have broadcast it live on Twitter.
I just read a breaking article on how Trumps lawyers have to disclose Trumps Tax returns situation finally.
Out of curiosity if the situation was reversed and Obama or Biden hadn’t disclosed their returns do you think there would be over or under 30 pages on here criticizing the **** out of them. Trump does it......crickets.
