FBI executes search warrant at Trump's Mar-a-Lago

From what's come out, there appear to be so many 4th Amendment violations. Ron Paul was ever so right. His son Rand has spoken out against the Patriot Act (another "tool" used unconstitutionally against American citizens) on many occasions.

While I'd prefer another candidate to run in '24, this might just set him up as a "martyr" of sorts and catapult him to an easy win in the general election. This is getting a lot of attention, and donations. I still believe, though, that's what's best is for him to be a king-maker instead of king.

This wasn't about the supposed documents that belong in the national archives. It was about finding something incriminating related to Jan 6th, business dealings, whatever. Nothing more, nothing less. The national archives thing is what got them in the door.

Are you suggesting that it’s the many Trump appointees and former associates that are corrupt, and not Trump?

well, the first part of your illegible sentence is true.
the second half is your opinion.

if you're going to correlate the appointees of Trump as not being corrupt, even though they were in, of and from the swamp, and instead infer that Trump is corrupt despite mountains of evidence proving otherwise, then you can use that same illogic with Hitlery.

however, unlike Trump appointments, the Clinton Body Count is a real on-going thing.

So here is what is wrong with this…
1. If they knew exactly what they were looking for, and where, why ramsack the house?
2. Why not just subpoena the documents and let the Trump legal team make whatever privilege case they want to… Presidents and ex presidents almost always win those because they have virtually unlimited access to documents…

This is politically charged through and through. The Dems miscalculated how bad it would look.. rather than a building block of doubt it make tge claims that they are unjustly persecuting him basically be universally accepted…

You know Sarge,I am just a simple observer. Reading that article I just posted I had to have a chuckle. Been in construction all my life. You don’t get to where Trump is in real estate and construction without breaking or bending many laws. You exaggerate the numbers for many projects,and downplay the numbers at the same time. People would have to be simpletons not to think he or any other business people in his tax bracket haven’t done multiple shady deals to get to where they are.

Rightly or wrongly it just doesn’t matter. There is a witch-hunt out on your former president. I mean ,seriously. It was pretty predictable. He just alienated too many people during his 4 years. Many of them on his own side. People with clout. I think people forget how brutal some of his comments were. It’s now his turn to get **** upon. It’s not going to stop.

Politics are something else. Not just in America. In my Canada,and the rest of the world,all I seem to read about are huge divisions. I would think the job of a politician would be to make their country a better place to live in for all.
Yet all I ever read about is finger pointing. Nobody ever seems to answer real questions anymore. There is just a dance.
Blaming the other side for this and that. Never doing anything about it. Never any compromise where both parties shove aside their differences for the better of the people. I could go on and on.

Simple question. If Trump really did take boxes of whatever from the White House that he shouldn’t have and there was undisputed evidence that he did were the actions taken warranted?

If the situation was exactly reversed.....do you not think he would have done the same to Biden? Probably would have broadcast it live on Twitter.

I just read a breaking article on how Trumps lawyers have to disclose Trumps Tax returns situation finally.

Out of curiosity if the situation was reversed and Obama or Biden hadn’t disclosed their returns do you think there would be over or under 30 pages on here criticizing the **** out of them. Trump does it......crickets. 🙂

If it sounds like I am pro Biden here,you could not be more wrong. I think the guy is a frigging creep. I just can’t believe how both sides are such hypocrites.

I have no idea how you got that from what I said. All I asked is that if she was implying that a Trump appointee signing off on the raid gives it legitimacy. I never said or implied that Trump, his associates or appointees are not corrupt. I think nothing gets done in DC unless you are corrupt.

Nah. Trump is corrupt. He's just a different kind of corrupt. His corruption is in business. You don't accomplish the things he's accomplished in real estate without a little back office dealing, greasing palms, kickbacks, that sort of ****. I don't know if he is politically corrupt or not. I mean, there are a lot of accusations and investigations. Yet somehow, we never see any evidence, none of it ever goes anywhere and it's on to the next. If they had anything concrete on the guy over all the investigations, it would have been paraded in front of the public by now.

There is not person on Earth that has been vetted to the extent Donald Trump has. Every intelligence service in every country has looked into Trump. And........nothing. If there was something, it would be public.

The raid was a fishing expedition. Hoping to find something to hang him with.

I’ve used the high school analogy for Trump before. In school,I bet everyone on this site knew a big mouthed arrogant ,conceited,entitled egotistical bully. He still is.

If he would have only showed some self restraint,kept his mouth shut a little bit more,showed a smidgeon of class he would have done great things for your country. He just can’t help himself. That people are surprised the witch hunt is amping up......I mean what can I say. All he has to do is look in the mirror if he needs someone to blame. But with him it will always be someone else at fault.

I hear what you’re saying. It’s dangerous times. Wouldn’t it be nice if a true leader showed up to unite the country. Preferably under 60. Black,white,Dem,Republican,who cares. Just someone to get the job done. That person sure as **** is not Biden,or Trump. As I said......dangerous times.
