At 20 or 21 I'm guessing these women were 60, who knows, they could have been 40, but it was a hoot seeing them lose it.Fightin' Irish ---Dunkin' Irish.....one in the same man..

I get the feeling you are right Zona. The run on Tackles happens every time we draft. But I have to have a little hope.If they want a LT, even Harrison, I suspect they will need to use 17 on him if they don't trade up for Paris or Broderick. Wright will likely be gone as well and we'll be left with 3 QB's, 2 WR's, and a running back that we don't want.
Everyone gets hit. He didn't get blindsided and destroyed. He landed bad. I'm saying how many sacks and hits did he give up. I'm not saying they shouldn't trade and take a premium Tackle. I'm just saying I won't be heartbroken if they don't.Not sure what you are talking about. Against the Ravens, two guys went pretty much unblocked. Kenny evaded the first one straight up the middle, then as he scrambled outside, he got thrown on his head by the second.
2 scholars!!!That would make sense for the interest in Darnell Wright. Chuks struggled after a great start last season and is a subpar run blocker. Not ideal for a team that wants to run the ball with a power back.
I understand and somewhat agree.the point I was making was that the Steelers could get shut out of the OT market in rd 1. After the top guys are off the board, you are now drafting a depth guy so you can make the case to skip OT until rd 4.
No eggs were consumed, so no. But there might have been a shaking of the leg at some point.
The consensus on this OT class is that there are maybe 2 or 3 top prospects, then a few 2nd round talents and the rest are just a bunch of guys.
I think the Steelers want a franchise LT as do most fans but what happens if there’s a run on OT and you get shut out? I’d much rather them take best available skill players than reach and take a 2nd round talent at 1.17 or a 3rd or 4th round talent in round 2.
The Steelers forced the Kendrick Green pick at C a few years ago and we see how that worked out.
We also have to realize that the Steeler OL right now after free agency, is good. It’s not great, it can use that upgrade at OT, but if they don’t add anything, this OL should be able to play well enough to not be a weakness.
Do yoy watch the draft inside the LS10?I hear yaz on all that you say, but I have to say the jury is out on the current revamped OL consensus of yours. They have two weaknesses and they are both OTs. I hope we can at least get one starter of the two out of this draft.
The OL is close, very close and needs 1 MAJOR player upgrade.

I think I’d be ok at 17 with Peezy’s kid or Brian Branch. Branch and Minkah would be amazing together.
Joey Jr. Could be mentored by Patrick Peterson and develop into an excellent CB.
Somehow I don’t think at 17 it will be an OT. Just a feeling.
I think they may be ok with Dan Moore Jr. but at 32 is where they jump on a RT to replace Chucks who is pricey for the caliber of play he demonstrates.
Just some thoughts I have but who really knows! Only thing for sure is they will Break the 40 yard time for running to the podium.
Do yoy watch the draft inside the LS10?
Bit of a difference between late 3rd round pick and mid 1st rounder.
Sounds as though Chase Young could be on the trade block this evening. Could 32 or 49 be offered to the Commanders for his services? Would it be worth it?
We have enough mid-level OL talent, we need that franchise (move up for) talent. Many have said you ONLY need one or two HIGH end talent and the OL could be great.
I want great !!!

He landed badly because he got thrown on his head by an unblocked defender. Not hard to figure out. I'm saying that an immobile quarterback would have given up a lot more sacks and hits. Jones should help with that.Everyone gets hit. He didn't get blindsided and destroyed. He landed bad. I'm saying how many sacks and hits did he give up. Look I had Jones as their guy. Today worked out great. But let's be real. There are 30 pass rushes in a game. The Ravens are going to get through sometimes. Thanks for clearing that up.Look I had Jones as their guy. Today worked out great. But let's be real. There are 30 pass rushes in a game. The Ravens are going to get through sometimes. Jones or not.
It was a shity tackle. He is going to get tackled. It wasn't a wiff and a free run around the edge in the pocket. It just wasn't. I'm completely happy replacing Moore but I think that is a reach. Thanks for clearing that up.
I'm not saying that Jones is their savior, but he's an immediate upgrade from Moore. A significant one. And what you said about poor blocking having nothing to do with Kenny getting hurt is just nonsense. All you have to do is watch the play.
I really don't know what you're getting at. Of course, the quarterback is going to get tackled. Would you have preferred it if Kenny had just gotten down and taken the sack from the first guy who had basically a free run at him straight off the snap? Like Ben circa 2021?It was a shity tackle. I'm going to try to put this to rest. 1st off I started a thread about drafting Brodrick Jones over my choice Van Ness about 10 days ago. I'm more than pleased at the pick. I'm just not comfortable with the idea that the oline was going to get Kenny killed. In fact the team was 18th in sacks allowed with 38. I looked at the two concussions again this morning. You are right about the Ravens one. I will conceded that. It was a total breakdown by the oline. I thought he had more time to get rid of the ball. He didn't. The first concussion against Tampa was a seven man pressure. KP needed to get rid of the ball earlier and more importantly 22 missed it and tried to leak out.I really don't know what you're getting at. Of course, the quarterback is going to get tackled. I'm just hoping the young mans new helmet does what it is designed to do...I'm going to try to put this to rest. 1st off I started a thread about drafting Brodrick Jones over my choice Van Ness about 10 days ago. Not the line.
Nothing happened last night that is going to change an individual play. It's about averages. There will be a play next year with a total breakdown by the oline. Question is does Kenny get form tackled or blown up?
What I'm more interested from last night and the offseason in general is......can this team line up inside the 5 with the defense knowing they will run the ball and still score. That will be the test for me.
Him and Friarmuth on the new helmets.I'm just hoping the young mans new helmet does what it is designed to do...
I dread seeing him with another concussion next season...that could be all she wrote folks...
I also hear he bulked up...which is something he desperately needed to do ...
fingers crossed for Kenny..
