CMT just said that Ben was cleared to play when he returned to the sidelines. He said he was not put back into the game because the offense was in a rhythm. REALLY????

There is NO excuse for not putting Ben back in the game sooner. NO EXCUSE!
 
I can blame Tomlin for not calling a TO on first and goal running play, but I can't blame him for getting into chip shot FG position and missing a ******* kick. Boz needs fired. The only reason he hasn't been already was financial, and the dead money involved. Boz is done, and shouldn't be allowed to kick for us again moving forward.

I don't want to hear any ******* excuses for this bullshit!!! Another loss to a **** team where we are outcoached. It happens ALL THE TIME with this piece of ****. When the Raiders ready to score, I'm screaming to use a timeout, we'd have had about 1 minute 20 seconds with the ball if he would've. But NOOOOOO, ******* dumbass Tomlin lets the clock tick, tick, tick away. Then the ******* moron wastes one when the CLOCK IS ALREADY STOPPED!!!! No blitzes at the end, didn't pay attention to the field in warmup. I'm sick and tired of this bullshit year after year after year. **** you Mike Tomlin, you arrogant stupid dipshit. Frankly, **** you Rooney for putting up with this **** for WAY TOO LONG. And to the Tomlin apologists, why do you keep putting this ******* above the team? He has NO CLUE what he's doing, and he NEVER takes responsibility. Enough is enough!!!
 
I stared at my tv in utter disbelief at that moron putting the whole game on his worst unit. He even topped himself for monumental stupidity. That ending wrapped up everything wrong with this team in one perfect package: horrible defense, brain dead head coaching, and horrible special teams. It's a miracle they had that win streak.

"I like to save a time out for my offense"

Well you idiot you shouldn't...... your offense can do alot more to ration that time than simply letting it tick down while on defense!!!!

Running out of bounds, hurry up offense, spiking the ball, throwing the ball away......offense has infinitely more options for conserving the clock and you have such a low football IQ that you can't comprehend that simple fact.

WHAT? What ******* rhythm does he speak of? Man I’ve said it for years that this guy is clearly not dialed up to the same game as everyone else. He’s not getting any better but unbelievably worse every year.
Defense was SUPPOSED to be his strong suit but he sure hasn’t displayed it here.

I’m with firing this mental midget after the season. He’s has totally wasted talent and always has this team under achieving. Enough is enough.

Another example if his incompetence. Use the timeouts, if they score you'll still have time on the clock for a possible winning TD, or at least move down so close to the goal line for a FG even Boswell couldn't screw up. If Oakland doesn't score you take over and run out the clock anyway, the timeouts wouldn't matter.

For once, I'm dead ******* serious. They knew before kick off that the Rats lost. If they beat the worst team in the league today they pretty much wrap the division up. Re watch the play where they say he was hurt. It wasn't some big hit, and the defender didn't land on him at all. I told everyone in the house if the Raiders took the lead he would be back in. Voila, miracle recovery. There is absolutely nothing that happened between him leaving, or coming back that made him any better or worse than he was to begin with. He may very well be the best QB we've ever had, but today just didn't work for me. This was bigger than one play, or some turn over, or some dumb **** he says to a reporter. It was essentially the biggest game of the season and he watched them **** the bed for over a quarter while he chilled on the sidelines. I may be the only one who feels that way, and frankly I don't care. It was a joke. There will be some bruise, or whatever to explain it I'm sure, but I'm not buying some debilitating rib injury on that.

The coaches all need to go too, except Munchak. This team we got smacked around by today is playing for the first pick in the ******* draft! Had they not been penalized so much, and some of them ****** calls, they win by double digits. I can respect fans who never see any wrong with players, coaches or whatever. To each their own. I saw an embarrassing game by my favorite team today and I'm extremely pissed. If we can't stop that sorry *** team what the Hell do you think NE and NO will score on us? THIS was THE must win game, and they stunk like *** out there. Sorry about the novel, but if there aren't some major coaching and player changes next season this run for all intents and purposes is over. Period. I'll be here for it, just like the 80's, but it's getting close to being here if something major doesn't happen.

I would be happy with the D coach and Tomlin but even that will be a stretch.

Best we can hope for is Butler and the ST coach.
 
Sorry, this is worse than the 80's. With Mark Malone at QB, we beat Denver in the playoffs, at Denver. This is pre - 70's Steeler football.

It took until the raiders to take the damn lead before he came back in. If he was “ok to play,” his big *** should’ve been in there.....AT ANY POINT in the second half. I don’t care if the the medical staff didn’t clear him, or the coaches told him to stay out, he should have got his *** out there when he seen us gain 25 yards in the whole third quarter. Look, I love Ben; always have, and always will. The guy is my favortie Steeler of all-time, and nothing will change it. However, the whole management of his “injury” was a total sham. He came back out, led a td drive after the sack, before the first half ended. Nothing was stated about him other than him being “slow to get up.” Then he comes back out in the second half, fully-dressed, jogging, moving his arms, showing no grimacing or anything of the sort. As soon as I seen that, I looked at my brother and told him that Ben would be back in AFTER the raiders take the damn lead. It was just like the bunghole playoff game a few years ago; ***** burfict sacks him, breaks his collarbone, comes back out, but doesn’t come back on the field until Landry throws it away, and Shazier makes the save. If it was such a severe injury, they wouldn’t clear him at all. Much like when his rib almost pierced his aorta; he didn’t come back at all.

So Tomlin all but said it was his call to keep Ben out, what the **** was Ben supposed to do run out on the field and drag Dobbs off? This is 100% on Tomlin and I don't give a **** who agrees or not. piss poor clock management keeping your best player on the sideline. no adjustments and the list goes on. He ****** Ben out of possibly being the best QB to ever play with his bullshit. **** that non coaching Dumb *****
