Honestly, after 8 years and now at least 9 without a playoff win. Is it time to move on?

Dows it matter? He isn’t going anywhere. I don’t understand the insistence on futilely crying for something that won’t happen no matter how much people cry for it. What’s the point in beating your head against a brick wall.

ARII has to have a serious talk with Tomlin.

1. Fire him
2. See which team he wants to go to and work out a trade
3. Retire for a year or two, make money in TV and take a new job

Returning to coach this team should not be an option. He'll only keep this team around .500 and winless in the playoffs.

trade him for as much as you can get. before everyone else knows

I don’t want him fired. But I would be perfectly fine with him retiring. That is the most possible outcome of many unlikely outcomes. Everyone saves face and keeps the legacy alive for the team and the coach. I doubt it happens but it would be the best option.

Watching you get your panties in a ruffle every time the subject gets brought up is pretty damn entertaining.

Well do you think he will be fired? Honestly? Do you think there is any chance of it? If your answer is no then why waste your breath. Like I said I am ok if he retires. But that is the only way I see him leaving.

You’ve got a little something on your chin again

Only your pathetic *** would say you don’t want him fired after watching that abomination-you’re a total moron

What legacy? The Steelers legacy is pretty much in the ******* at this point. So is Tomlin’s.

Last SB win was the 2008 season. Last SB appearance was 2011 season. Last playoff win was 8 years ago with several absolute playoff embarrassments since then.

Those 6 Super Bowl trophies are nice, but it’s been nearly 15 years since they played anywhere near that level. **** legacy. I’d like to see them get back to respectability.

Mike Tomlin won a playoff in 4 of 18 seasons. For a coach who has won as many regular season games as he has, that's pathetic.

He has already diminished his legacy to a certain extent, as not many other "great" coaches have gone 8 years without winning a playoff game.

The longer he clings on at this point, the worse it will get.

Ultimately, Tomlin is what he is, so the blame for the situation has to mostly reside with Rooney.

So you want him gone but you are concerned of the appearance of him being fired. OK. Well we all know he won't be fired. They'd owe him like 40 million dollars but they do look ridiculous now for renewing his contract don't they?

They’ve felt very corporate of recent.
Lack of soul.

Even if they lost, there was still some emotional attachment.

I ain’t feeling it with this team. They definitely need to get back to respectability
