This, it took the whole stadium to chant “Fire Canada” to get that done, that’s what it will take to get Tomlin out. Rooney has to be embarrassed into action
exactly.

At Latrobe: "Fire Tomlin"

At Acridshit: "Fire Dookie"

Honestly, after 8 years and now at least 9 without a playoff win. Is it time to move on?
Why is this even a question outside of the P.C. sports media? Did you hear Al Michaels in the pre-game mention all the outside "crap" people are talking about Tomlin? These guys all line up to slob on his knob as they all grift off the NFL product. His "body of work" speaks for itself. If it was you or me managing a company that's not a sports franchise/cartel member(Yes...the NFL is a cartel) like this we wouldn't have lasted but a few months before being tossed out on our *****.

These sports talking head *** wipes try to gaslight us every minute of the day on every sports show. Like we can't understand what a **** product looks like...for God's sake we are in the same division as the Browns.

The emperor has no clothes no matter what Al Michaels, Stephen A. Smith, Shannon Sharpe...or any other grifting *** wipe has to say.

Ok I'm done.

What legacy? The Steelers legacy is pretty much in the ******* at this point. So is Tomlin’s.

Last SB win was the 2008 season. Last SB appearance was 2011 season. Last playoff win was 8 years ago with several absolute playoff embarrassments since then.

Those 6 Super Bowl trophies are nice, but it’s been nearly 15 years since they played anywhere near that level. **** legacy. I’d like to see them get back to respectability.
Tomlinships.

Instead of SBs or playoff wins, it the substandard of being in the range of 12th to 16th best team in the league and either just missing the postseason tournament or squeaking into the playoffs only to get down 21-0 early and get totally embarrassed.

So you want him gone but you are concerned of the appearance of him being fired. OK. Well we all know he won't be fired. They'd owe him like 40 million dollars but they do look ridiculous now for renewing his contract don't they?
worst ever NFL contract:
stains with the massage theRapist connesiuer 5 year $250 M gteed

worst coaching contract:
Steelers no trade Tomlin 3 year extension in the face of consecutive playoff embarrassments

I can't think of one reason or one thing Tomlin brings to this organization & team that any other Head Coach couldn't!

He needs to go!

Tomlin is good at the duct tape what you wouod call retooling of a team but quite frankly never rebuilt this team. They road Ben about three years after he was capable of contending. Then they immediately drafted a QB which they forced in with two veteran qbs on the roster because God forbid they have a losing season. Then they dump the draft pick after another season and get two retread tires cheap. And get enough out of them to be competitive but not contend. Because that's what Tomlin is good at compete but not contend. I don't think they are really at the beginning of the end. It's two more years and then probably he quits when they don't give him a new contract. Which is what should have happened last off season. He's fresh out of fall guys. You gotta go to the bottom for a while to get to the top.

Mike Tomlin won a playoff in 4 of 18 seasons. For a coach who has won as many regular season games as he has, that's pathetic.
You can’t trade him as he has a no trade clause. He won’t step down. You can only fire him.

I am a Steelers fanatic, extreme diehard. It is time.

When they make a change I will make a change and resume watching.

Wasted the killer B’s era.
Wasted away Cam’s career.
TJ would benefit with more lineman as would Highsmith. These guys are breaking down as the season goes on.

3 down lineman would be big against teams like the Ravens. Tomlin continues to employ soft zone coverage which gets exposed on a weekly basis. He’s relied heavily on splash plays that come from the likes of his star players.

This guy just cannot get over his ego. In turn, I feel like he’ll lose some die hard fans for a bit which is going to be necessary to see any real change.

Rooney needs to feel some heat in the pocket book to realize something needs to change.

Listen at 0:40 seconds. Pickens flat out says he is not optimistic with this offense going forward.

Reporter: Does that make you optimistic going forward?
GP: Naw...

Truthfully, listening to Pickens talk, he may not know what optimistic means. Because he seems to give the generic, boring answers to the questions as all players and coaches do.

That's not going to happen because Deuce isn't going to pay someone $16 million a year for three years to sit at home.
And Shades is too stubborn to retire.

I expect the Tomlin Fan Club on social media to blame Arthur Smith in short order because he's about the last hwyte guy left to blame.

Hi guys... Ravens fan here, but I love the Steelers when we're not playing you. Our teams are among the last of the smash-mouth football era. Regarding Tomlin, we hear the same calls to fire Harbaugh when we lose a playoff game and it would be silly to do so. The big issue is this... who is a better available coach? The answer is usually "nobody". As an outsider looking in, I think the same is true for the Steelers. Tomlin is a great coach. In my humble opinion, he takes teams farther than they should go with the talent he has available (often to the detriment of the Ravens, btw). This year is no exception. The weak link in the Steelers organization is talent gathering, not coaching, and getting great players at every position is very difficult in the NFL. There was a time when the Steelers had guys like Big Ben and Troy P with strong support at every position on both sides of the ball. What does Tomlin have now? Not much. The Ravens have been on a roll in recent years in the talent department. I guarantee you that, if Tomlin had the current Ravens roster to work with, you guys would be heading to the Super Bowl. If it were me, I'd be looking hard at the front office and leave Tomlin alone. Just my two cents.

He did say he saw improvement in the passing but then came the Naw...

Sounds like he knows it doesn't matter who throws the ball if the game plan still sucks

Tomlin could waive his no-trade clause.

Steelers don't play smash-mouth football anymore and haven't for some time. I can see how you, as a Raven fan would like to see Tomlin stay on as coach of the Steelers for as long as possible.
