Looks like so many people have ordered ppv it's crashed the system in some states. Delayed.
If it was 6 or 8 rounds Connor may have won, but he had no juice in the tank
Props to Conor. He did way better than I thought he would. That was stopped way to early. Never seen a boxing match stopped that early. I have no idea who was scoring the match up until then, but Conor won almost every round.
That was weird, but Conor was gassed. He would have gotten embarrassed if it continued - probably.
All that said, Tibs - let's see that sig.
Yeah those scorecards were bizarre.Even more weird. They had him winning only 1 round on the judges cards when the results came in. It really shows you how corrupt boxing is. He was never going to win that fight no matter what unless he knocked him out.
Now that I think of it he never conditioning for more than a few rounds. It was the same with Nate Diaz. Gassed out in after 15 min. I guess he didn't want to trade off strength for more endurance or this was just a sucker show to begin with.

There is no debate that Connor won the first 3 rounds, but after that Floyd slowly / steadily started turning it on. Round 4 / 5 was close, but after that it was a Floyd whitewash. I had the fight close, but mayweather winning. The judges scorecards were a bit whacked, but look at the Pacquiao vs Horn cards. As for the fight being stopped early I do not agree. Connor almost fell over several times, Floyd was picking him apart, and Connor was not landing / throwing anything. If the fight was not stopped then, Connor would have taken several more un-needed shots and been down anyways. I believe there was still about min left in the 10th when it was stopped and I highly doubt he would have escaped the round.
One thing I was surprised at is that Connor's power did not seem to translate into boxing. Floyd did not seem hurt at all by any of Connor's shots and Floyd's shots sounded much crisper / stronger. I also thought Connor did a better job of hitting floyd than I expected, but according to floyd that was the gameplan.
I argued Mystic Mac was going to shock the world, prove he is a world class boxer - even without ever having boxed a round of professional boxing - and that he'll beat Mayweather.
After ten full rounds in an excellent boxing match, McGregor lost the fight which sucks. I wish he would have found a way to victory. He came close, but not close enough.
I think it's safe to say most everyone's shocked how this fight went down. McGregor went toe to toe and won multiple rounds against the best boxer on the planet. McGregor is a beast, he proved that 'an idea' sometimes does turn into 'reality', that those two things are not mutually exclusive. And life's not worth living if you simply accept reality and never dare to think and dream big.
So hats of to the Irish kid for putting in the work, showing up in great shape and ready to box. And props to Mayweather for keeping his 50-0 record intact. I hope everyone that called this fight a joke going in - and Connor a clown - will have by now realized how wrong they were.
Many people - too many to count - said McGregor 'won't even touch Mayweather'.

Now onto the cage.

Yeah, that's really important and quite healthy to see all things in life - including sports - solely through the prism of politics.Mcgregor was anti trump. Mayweather went to the inauguration. I’m good with this outcome.
