Something Cowher doesn't quite get enough credit for is turning over the roster multiple times and turning them into Super Bowl contenders multiple times. Like over half the starters in Super Bowl 30 weren't starters when he took over in 1992, then it's similar to 1997, alot of new starters compared to 1995, then onto 2001 alot of new starters compared to1997, then 2005, alot of new starters compared to 2001.They're not even on the same planet. Noll&staff turned a team that had never won anything and built the greatest football team ever assembled.
Cowher and Tomlin just got to steer that ship after it was built.
Now it's sitting on the bottom of the ocean.
Now you look at Tomlin, as the players there we already here when he took over began to age and retire/slow down this team has dropped off a cliff.
