While it sucks that Boz got injured on that attempted fake- I don’t hate the call. It forced Canada to call scoring plays. It made Ben and the offense fight for 6 instead of settling for 3.
He could have had that thing cinched up as tight as it will go and it still would have popped loose from the helmet to the chin he took.Boswell is a goat also. It was a bad call, but not only should he have had the awareness to get rid of the ball and/or force a throw and hope for a miracle (nothing to lose) he didn’t have his chin strap buckled tight enough and I suspect that might have played a role in his concussion.
Would like to add a honourable mention to Chase. There’s been a lot of “ he’s soft” comments lately. He had some strong moments in this game
An extra little shout out to Cam. Our Defensive leader. I mean come on. He had a great game. This man will be truly missed one day, and as far as I am concerned will go down as one of the all time Steeler greats. Here’s to many more quality seasons Cam.
he was making a mayfield impersonationBoswell was scanning the field like a five-year veteran at QB.
extra kudos to Najee Harris.
Idk if you saw it. But that TD Pass to Friermuth, Garret was bearing down on ben hard. Najee was up in the pocket and circled back to left to pick up Garret before he earholed ben. Would have been a Strip sack.
I'm happy about the win, and the offensive line played well, but I would not describe their performance as dominant. They held up against a good defensive line, but there were still plenty enough leaks. They are getting better though, that much is evident, and that's a good trend. But I can't say they were dominant. The offensive line. They played as a unit and dominated the line of scrimmage.
Cam. He’s at DPOY level.
Ben- managed the game properly
You almost quoted my post in another thread, it was a great play by najeeextra kudos to Najee Harris.

Cleveland went into the game as the #2 ranked defense against the run. 80 yds a game, we had 115 as a team, Najee had 91 himself. 32 carries for 115 yards. 3.6 yards a carry. That's not dominance. That's volume. Like I said, they are obviously improving. 3.6 yards a carry at the start of the season was a pipe dream. Take the DL. They held a guy that is averaging damn near 6 yards a carry for the season to 3.8 today, and held a team that runs for 170 a game to 96. That's much closer to dominant than the OL.Cleveland went into the game as the #2 ranked defense against the run. 80 yds a game, we had 115 as a team, Najee had 91 himself. They did it against one of the best defenses against the run so I think it is a big improvement.Look, I'm not trying to **** on the OL. They are definitely getting better. Much, much better. But 32 for 115 isn't dominant in my book. For the Steelers, however, it's a marked improvement.
I definitely agree the line was not dominant. Coaching should have helped with Myles. I think they held their own and were not horrible which is an improvementLook, I'm not trying to **** on the OL. Let's just say he didn't eat today...How did Taco do? Didn't show the game here - got Bengals and Jets.
brain fart... thanksJesse James? He did catch the ball.
Meh....they might not have been dominant but they were controlling the game with it. I particularly liked the 3rd and five run by Harris. I don't know when they changed the rule, but once upon a time a personal foul trumped a lesser penalty. Green's holding penalty completely negated the blatant late hit out of bounds personal foul. Penalties offset, replay the down. I thought both fouls should have been penalized... walk off the 10 yards for the hold on Green, then 15 and an automatic first down for the late hit.... They did get the call for the guy hitting Najee late out of bounds in the 1st half but he should have been ejected. He lifted his forearm and purposely hit Najee across the face in an attempt to hurt him. The dude better get a suspension from Rog but I doubt he will even get a fine...

What's to stop anyone from putting a Theisman hit on a QB once he's been blatantly held? Hell, the whole team could do it! It would just be offsetting penalties, right?
