Who’s doing at home tailgating?
What’s on your menu?
We’re doing meatball/hot sausage sandwiches,
Home roasted wings, Baked beans, coleslaw.
Plus plenty of Gas X/Beano so my living room doesn’t resemble the campfire scene from
Blazing Saddles

I’ll be in Yellowstone, and if I’m successful in hand to hand BEAR combat, I’ll be having bear steak and
penny candy ( that now costs $1.89 ).

I'm grilling some frankenchicken from the Good Meat company. You know, the one where they grow meatlike matter in stainless steel pressure vessels adding carbohydrates, sugars, enzymes, amino acid, and bovine fecal matter. They call it chicken, approved by the FDA. I wouldn't call it chicken. That's a lie. It's frankenchicken.

Question. What kind of bear is best? Black bear

Depends on the fight you want to make.....................

Black Bear is the smaller easier of the two, just be sure to keep your left hand up to protect against that right hook like claw......

Grizzly Bear on the other hand have a larger frame and hit a hell of a lot harder, causing more ring / foot movement, thus adding to the appetite.............

I personally go for the Grizzly when it's hand to claw battle, I like the challenge and the steak.......... If cooked PROPERLY.

Traveling up to Penns Creek for a few days to primitive camp and fly fish with the wifey to celebrate our 31 years together. So, hopefully trout over the open fire.

Congratulations and enjoy the trip.

So you are warming her up first?

😁😇

I'll probably throw something in the smoker. Maybe some jalapeno's stuffed with cream cheese and a few other things all wrapped up in bacon. Then I'll probably make beer can burgers. I normally stuff mine with portabella mushrooms and homemade mac 'n cheese, then cover with hot pepper cheese. Wrap the whole thing in bacon and cook. When done, throw both of them on the grill for a few minutes to stiffen up the bacon and enjoy! It's a great 1st day of football or any sport meal.

10:00 am start here,as so many are. Though this year there are some night games sprinkled in.
I am thinking smoked salmon and avocado bennies. With air fried new potatoes, with red peppers and onions mixed in.

My Traditional opening nfl Sunday dinner will definitely be my 2 day slow cooked pulled pork sandwiches. With my German coleslaw. Mmmm, mmmm, good. Haven’t made it since last season.

My apple trees gave me tons of apples this year. So a nice big apple crumble will be made for desert.

Congrats Badcat. Happily married and a fly fisherman. Two huge parts of my life, too.
