like him or not.. this **** with McClendon,,, and Shazier is bullshit.
I hope this was supposed to be some kinda metaphor stuff or sumphtin' 'cause there ain't no stinkin' basements in Tampa.
A football player graduating from William and Mary is no great achievement. He couldn't have gotten into the school without being an athlete. If you think being a head coach or coordinator takes above average intelligence you are mistaken. Missing the playoffs 3 times in 7 years with a franchise QB in his prime, the greatest DC of all time running a defense that has been a number 1 for most of his tenure is a truer abilities. If not for the Rooney Rule he would not be our head coach, taking a guy with his wafer thin resume and handing over one of the greatest franchises in the NFL to this neophyte was ridiculous and the way we have gotten progressively worse under his tenure is a direct reflection on him. But hey he wears those cool shades and spews all those verbal non sequiturs so he must be smart.

Not sure what the difference means. .
We still have incomplete information; we would lack information regardless of whether or not we knew the exact nature of each injury.
at least if we keep the playing field level and use the same criteria to judge his candidacy that is used to judge Tomlin unworthy of getting the job in the first place
What?
more what? IM talking about the fact McClendon has said he is not injured and to talk with Tomlin. Also regarding shazier, If the guy has a knee bruise,, why not just say it.. If he has a sprain just say it.. if he tore his miniiscus,, say it.. why does he feel
he needs to say boo boo.... and act condescending? Its not like its game week and we are hiding Rothlisbergers injury so the other team doenst know what to prepare for.
I don't know why Tomlin says what he does, and why he says it like he does, but I do know that the content of his words are unlikely to match the reality of the team's internal injury considerations because he is simply making a media show. If he said nothing, then the result at game time would still be the same; ergo it doesn't matter what he says to the media.

He has a boo boo which = Not serious. Nothing long term. Something that can linger by practicing. So we are going to hold him out til he is better because the objective is to be ready Sept 7 not Aug 9.
This is how I interpreted his statement.

I mean honestly how else could you interpret it. Oh yeah the coach is stupid.
maybe for heyward bey he should have said,, " he just got his bell rung" ,,, maybe for Zumwalt he should say his peepee got yanked... (groin injury) ,,, the semantics arent thepoint.. its why and when he is using them.. or if there is even an injury.
McClendon has been out of practice for days and said he isn't injured that we need to ask tomlin why he isn't practicing...
My enervations about tomlin are my own. I think this crap with McClendon and shaziers is unnecessary and glib.
he could/should just say "shazier has a knee contusion, he will be out a few days".... viola!
I don't pay a lot of attention to the Pats* but I've heard that Tom Brady has been listed as "questionable" or "probable" for every game for the past 7 years except for the season he spent on IR.I just think he takes a page out of the Hoodie's playbook and doesnt like to reveal injuries. I just find it comical one is considered a genius and the other stupid.
