Absolutely there are. Right now they are in a training and advisory role. But that additional 8,00 troops? Yeah that’s about the size of a reinforced brigade or regimental combat team. My guess is this will be an ACR or BCT with a combat aviation brigade( 3 battalions of attack/scout helicopters with transport helicopters and their maintenance and logistics assets. In other words a fairly large and powerful combat formation that also has the tools to easily lay the groundwork for even more follow on combat formations. This is a wag the dog scenario to distract from the fact that we have a mentally incompetent figurehead as president and our nation is actually being administrated by a committee of incompetent woke socialist ********. We are at risk of a war where we will definitely clean the Russians clock but hundreds maybe thousands of young American men will bleed and die and untold amounts of American treasure will be wasted on an endeavor Europeans ought to be taking care of themselves.
