Holy **** Steelers

Mason was terrible. Diontae was a goat with the fumble. Muuth wasn't really used all game and then had a drop and the fumble to end it in OT. Although, to be honest, he needed to get out of bounds. We didn't have enough time to get the FG team on the field and kick the FG or even get over and spike it. The game was essentially over anyway.
Yeah, I didn’t think we’d get another play off either.

**** off. He is playing against the Lions and their QB not Ben. His pass yardage was 3 to 4 times more. He did more than enough to win. The fumbles and reject play calling was the problem.
He did do just enough to win. There were instances where his receivers dropped a catch.

I think Daryl Johnston was trying to say the ball had too much zip. If you’re an nfl caliber wr. Look the pass in.

I don’t think Mason is the next QB after Ben, but he had his opportunities

Not sure if your serious or not, I’ll go with serious. Are you fn kidding me? The majority of his passes with overthrown, he missed wide open players like DJ for a TD.

If he could hit his targets, we would have been up big before half.

This team is not good. Regardless of the 11-0 start, last year’s team was not good. We have some good talent and some stars, but the TEAM and COACHING STAFF is not good.
…And ownership is content with mediocrity.

I would say he missed 4 or 5 passes that were bad. Ben is gonna miss some too. They had about a half dozen other fuckups by guys that were much worse. They fumbled twice where he had them in position to win. Is that on him? Or is it only the pick and the misses TD that count.

I do not think Mason played as well as some. He sails too many passes that should have resulted in easy completions on those slant plays.

We got a tie so it is what it is...

Mason wasn't great but he did enough to win the game. Others let him down.

He started off promising, but sailed and missed on way too many typically easy NFL passes.

But this was a total team meltdown, no doubt about that.

My point, it never should have come to OT. He hits some (way more than 4-5) those overthrown passes we win easy. He sucks.

I don't think he played great. But he played a **** of a lot better than Goff the 1st round First overall.

50 passes and for what

Hopefully to prove that they need to INVEST heavily in the offensive Line.

Coolie,............................... it just can never be easy but it does say soething for the fight in this team or lack there of pending on outcome of game.

Chin up

Salute the nation

True true. And he showed some moxie on those couple runs. Just an embarrassing team performance all-around.

You will rarely see Ben miss a wide open receiver like Mason did several times today. That said he had some decent moments and had a lot of help losing this game.

I think Mason did fine.

Me after watching Mason Rudolph today:

Ah, ****. It's a game.

And frankly, the times when the Steelers had so much overwhelming talent on offense or defense are over. Now, Pittsburgh has literally 3 guys (with maybe a 4th emerging) that are exceptional. Other than that, literally, mediocre talent across the board.

They have Ben, (as much as it hurts me... fading.)
T.J. (Truly a star, but with almost no help whatsoever.)
Cam (The ONLY reason the defense at times looks dominant, 2 superstars at the D-Line for the most part).

And the maybe... Harris (Ya, he can grind an extra 5 or so yards pretty regularly, but this isn't the 80s or 90's, boys gotta make some SPLASH plays.)
