How does the loss of Haskins change the draft?

They have two decent QB’s already. Unless Pickett or somebody good is still there then it’s doubtful they use a high pick on a QB.
It depends on how "desperate" they felt before this tragedy and if they fell in love with any of the QB's. Cook from the PG is still questioning if they are in that mode and could even trade up in round 1. I think that would be a major fail and disaster for the team moving forward. BUT, you just never know with QB's.

Exactly. While his death was a tragedy for all concerned, with all due respect he was our 3rd string QB and won't affect the team much at all other than they will draft or sign a FA to be the 3rd stringer. Like I said earlier, if the Browns hadn't signed him already they simply would have given Dobbs another contract.
I’m not so sure Haskins was relegated to the #3 QB. Haskins had a pedigree and the Steelers picked him up fairly quickly when he became available. Not that they were convinced he could live up to his pedigree, but I think they definitely liked his potential, thought of him as a “what if” type and hadn’t ruled him out as the possible starter.

I think the Steelers were legitimately interested in drafting a QB, possibly early, before last weekend and now they find themselves with one less option.

It's perspective and having no ego.
If I die today, NOBODY on this board would know or care. People die every day on this planet. We collectively don't know 99% of them.
But because Dwayne's "famous" or because he plays for my favorite team, it has some life altering effect on me and my daily activities?
I'm not trying to sound as callous as this is coming across, but I just found it unfair to attack someone for asking a legitimate question in a very respectful way.

Not true, we (I) may not know you died but would miss you and your great post(s) when you didn't show up to [post.

With shazier it was more a discussion of whether he’d be back or not… if you remember, the initial diagnosis with him was simular with what happened to maddox had a lot of hope he would be ok… unfortunately that wasn’t the case… man the Steelers have had a lot of brutal tragedies….

Flip that coin and reaLIZE THEY HAVE ALSO HAD A LOT OF success AS WELL. The STEELERS have handled the tragedies very well as a team and as human beings, done the right things along the way.

Part of why we are enamored with them.

I appreciate it, but I think you know what I'm trying to say.
