Meh the guy is thought to be going first overall... First overall QBs are usually disappointments, at least for tge team drafting them
Since 67 there have been like 27, and of that only 3 have won a super bowl with the team that drafted them... Bradshaw, Aikman and Peyton...
three more were traded and won super bowls for the team they were traded to... Elway, Eli, and Stafford
plunkett was traded, released and eventually won as a journeyman with the Raiders..
Bledsoe took the Pats to a super bowl in 96, but only won as a backup to Brady
Burrows has already taken the bengals to a SB , but lost
Cam newton also lost a super bowl.
So thats ten of the 25 that gave tgeir team or a team at least some championship level play.
Two more were stars but had tgeir careers cut short:
Vick ended his tenure in disgrace
Luck succumbed to early retirement.
Several basically ended up as journeymen or average guys... Testaverde, Bartkowski, Palmer, Alex Smith, jeff george, current guys like Jamis Winston, Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray look to be in this category... maybe Goff too, but he still has a chance to prove himself a winner...
Then there are the outright busts... Russell, Couch, David Carr,
Lawerence and Young are too new to judge yet..
