Of course. They will milk money from everyplace they can until it's dry then move on to the next. What they really need control of is all private enterprise. The health care industry was a big push toward that with the goal of single payer. Which is them. Thank God that had massive pushback on that garbage.

Good grief most of us already work 3-4months out of the year 100% for the government. **** those who hit that 37% tax bracket and have a state tax are even more.

That's how I look at taxes. How many months out of the year do you work 100% for the government? Now if you throw in local taxes on everything you buy it gets even shittier.

We got some money back from the Trump tax cut but that was short lived. Our county took that money in a property value reassessment. They are quick to note they didn't raise taxes. How about try cutting expenses and see where that goes. Yeah it might piss off a few loudmouths but the majority would really appreciate it.

Apparently, their state constitution disallows them from making decreases to public pension plans? I could understand that for benefits already accrued, but I think they are limited in what they can do for future accruals, too.

Apparently, they do not think that changing the state constitution to remove that idiotic limitation is a solution and the only solution is to steal more money.
