So then you agree a barrier at the southern border is needed? And I've read the article, they're talking about fencing that seems pretty similar to the steel slats with an opening between them to track activity on the other side. Whatever is the most effective deterrent, I'm for it. If it's a "smart fence", great. Build the damn thing already.
