Initial Thoughts on Bills Game

Tomlin might be forced to open up the offense or his legacy of 500 or better seasons might be coming to an end.

Henry is probably looking forward to Xbox-like stats next week while thinking about the playoff game last year.

I've worried about elite QBs against this defense in recent years, well, add in elite RBs. Cook destroyed us tonight and it was the worst run defense performance at home in decades (yeah, I know, another "worst performance in decades" stat). Look who's on deck (not sure if this week's stats are included):

Henry x2 - #5 931 yards (4.7 YPC)
Achane - #6 900 yards (5.5 YPC)
Gibbs/Montgomery - #3 1,019 yards (5.8 YPC)/543 yards (4.4 YPC)
Judkins - #19 667 yards (3.9 YPC)
 
Initial Thought:
Would the Giants still trade for Tomlin if the Steelers finish 6-11?

What team would trade for Tomlin now?

Just get a good Coach that can scheme to help your weakness's, not just do what we do! Buffalo has a **** defense, but they played up close to LOS because they know everything is going to be a quick short pass, they held us to 7 points and totally shut us down.

Isn't that called "scheme adjustment"? I have heard of teams doing things like that. Not sure what it is.

I think I posted this in another thread, but can't recall. I hope they lose out or, at the very least, finish below .500. That is the only glimmer of hope we have for Tomlin leaving. Break his streak and let's see if Rooney has the balls to make a move, or is he too focused on the money and dumb 3-year contract he gave Tomlin. My bet is Tomlin will be here to the end of his contract unless they lose out and he wants out.

There isn't really much left to be said that hasn't already been said through this season or prior seasons.

The good thing is that we're most likely down to the last couple years of the Tomlin era.

I just don't see him walking away from the $30+ million he is owed through 2027, but would love to be wrong.

A con man rarely walks away from a huge pile of cash, usually it takes a bigger pile of cash to divert them…really wish some streaming platform would realize he’s their perfect centerpiece to build their foundation on and divert him to his next endeavor

They are customized for each week's opponent. We also carry the Mike Tomlin inner liner. This is very popular this year but does carry an upcharge of $10
