last opening drive TD was week 16 last year against the bungles

Yep a good draft or free agency won’t sway me, they are and will continue to be huge disappointments as long as captain cliche is at the helm.

I think Trice might be a good player someday, but you just can't do that to a young guy.

Headcase Pickens got ignored in the first half. His pea brain couldn't handle it, I guess. We'd still be better off giving him 12 targets a game. He's our only offensive threat.

My wife was asking me about Tomlin's contract. I told her he just got a new 3 year deal. She later asked, just what does he have to do to get fired? I told her, kill somebody, I guess. She said we're stuck with him until he wants to leave, aren't we.... She understands my pain.

How many years has it been since the Steelers scored on the opening drive? It's got to be a really long streak. They may as well just kneel it down three times and punt on the first drive to get it out of the way.

This team scripts nothing on offense. It's just a **** show. That's been going on for years and there's no end in sight.
 
The bengals defense was utterly impotent over the middle of the field all season, and last game we ate them alive... so this game we just ignored it, as always... we just held that high powered O to 19 points... the 4th lowest of tge season for them.. and lost...

Is the priority to build a SB contender or just continue throwing darts?
This has become beyond ridiculous with changing players every season but with the very same results,
Art should have gotten rid of Tomlin after the Jaguars home playoff loss. That was the time to steer this club in a new direction.
Forget playoffs! This team couldn’t even take advantage of a bad Bengal’s defense.
This time next year, same **** trust me.

Have to cut the head of the snake off. No way this team does anything until then. 100 percent convinced.
 
Maaan, they get me every damn year. I start the year knowing that the culture has gone stale and it's time for a new HC. Then they pull of a bunch of wins where they look somewhat competent and "on the rise" ... So, I think to myself "Maybe Tomlin has some things pointing up" or "Maybe the new coordinator has made the offense/defense better." "I'll put away the pitchfork and see"
And what do I see? A total collapse. At this point, I wouldn't care if Tomlin were Vince Lombardi, it's time for change. Past time actually.

No excuse for a four game losing streak. That is completely bad coaching.
 
If you believe they can never win anything with Tomlin, do you realize this is the way it is gonna have to be, and worse, for Rooney to even consider a change? Do we have the stomach for it?

On the heels of last year's losing streak and sticking with QBs who weren't providing competent play at the position. Same as this year.
The man is just too damn stubborn to even consider change.
 
What the hell is our veteran QB doing lowering his shoulder instead of getting out of bounds with 30 seconds left? And why start using the middle of the filed with 11 seconds left and no timeouts? The game was over whether Muth caught it or not. Some of the dumbest **** I've seen since throwing the ball from the 1 in the SB with Lynch in the backfield.
