Initial Thoughts on bungle Game

I’ll also add, both these coordinators suck! Terrell Austin does what he’s told taking orders from Tomlin. This guy got booted in Detroit and Cincinnati as their DCs. He was so bad in Cincinnati he didn’t last the season.
Next you have Arthur Smith who did nothing in Atlanta and his playcalling here stinks. Very predictable with absolutely zero innovation. He’s a joke!
The middle of the field is ignored for the better part of three quarters. What a total waste!
Tomlin couldn’t recognize a competent coordinator or position coach if his life depended on it.
The OL Coach Meyer is totally incompetent. These OL regressed throughout the season.
What a joke!
Let’s hurry and get this stupid season over with.
Couldn't have said it any better.
Al we heard was Smith>Canada. Derrick Henry was a stud with Smith so he's gonna change the run game and unlock Harris to finally be the guy they drafted.

Run game got worse under Smith despite upgrades to the line and QB.
30 year old Derrick Henry looked better than he ever looked under Smith.

Terrell Austin is possibly worse than Smith

Even special teams is falling off. outside of Boswell of course.
Fun fact in 2024 Boswell was 3 field goals shy of the all time single season record.
He made 41 FG, just 8 fg shy of the past two seasons combined.

And if your aunt had balls, she'd be your uncle. You keep myopically complaining about drops in a single game while ignoring the overall drop numbers in 2024, because those facts don't fit your narrative.
It was the most recent game. A two point loss where the receivers dropped 4 passes, failed to make plays on 2 others and fumbled a punt return while the OL allowed 4 sacks and provided mostly poor run blocking. I think myopic is blaming the loss on the QB.

As I've already said this: "The team is also lacking in other areas," I think that you may not know what the word myopic means.

And I really like how you'll blame the 4 sacks completely on the OL, and put none of the blame on your hero. No myopia there.

Have you watched the games? The pocket collapses quickly and consistently. In pass blocking, the OL should be a bow that resists being flexed. The Steelers OL quickly turns into a circle.

Yep

Yeah, I watched the first six games, too. When Fields was able to avoid a bunch of potential sacks due to the poor pass blocking by evading the rush, and turning a negative play into a positive result. He rarely crumples up like a scared turtle as Russ often does.

Selective memory? Fields got sacked at least twice in all of his starts and was sacked 3 or more times in 3/6 all with a simplified passing game. I was at the Indy loss where he got sacked 4 times for 30 yards.

No. I remember distinctly saying to myself that should have been a sack right there. On more than several occasions.

Russ has been sacked 3 or more times in 7 of his starts, including 9 times in the last 2. If you insist that somehow Wilson at his age is more mobile than Fields is at 25, there is no point in continuing to waste time arguing with you.

look topseed is arguing with somebody.

In other news , water is wet.
I know...hard to believe you might find me or hundreds of thousands of other people arguing on various message boards. But thanks for noticing.
