Thats whats on video. How can you look at it and see it any other way? And im not being a funny. What makes you see it that way??

12 years of playing and about 8 years coaching. But that's not whats being discussed. It's what I see. You see what you see. You're not being funny. You're defending your opinion.

Ok No problem if you see him giving up thats what you see.

That's what you think. You stated it before. I contend it was more than that. Why because sometimes receivers ******* quit on a route.

possible/probable they do from time to time.

Although MB has been off a year, I just think he gets say confused a little with plays, routes, etc.

Rookie WR JuJu Smith-Schuster has passed Eli Rogers on the depth chart as the Steelers' primary slot receiver.
Smith-Schuster out-snapped Rogers 38-37 in Week 2 and then took over completely last week with a 51-21 advantage. Rogers wasn't even targeted in the Week 3 loss to the Bears, while JuJu saw six and had the team's longest catch. According to ESPN Steelers reporter Jeremy Fowler, Pittsburgh will also activate Justin Hunter this week. Rogers may be completely falling out of favor.

Kind of like the fly pattern he decided to cut towards middle of field and the QB threw it as intended for the continued sideline route that was callEd in the huddle???

Now i know yall dont watch or just make things up..bryant was in the slot..at no no time was that pattern supposed to be near the sidelines

I think it's a mistake to start JuJu over Rodgers. I know Rodgers muffed a punt, but JuJu has not shown a lot as a WR. Also i just do not think he is a slot guy. Last game someone said Rodgers only got 21 snaps. I am sure some of those were runs (not sure if they counted PR) so when you are not targeted and only get like 15 plays obviously you are not going to have stats. I could understand if JuJu was lighting it up and needed to get on the field, but he has not been special yet. I would give the majority of plays to Rodgers in the slot and use JuJu on the goaline due to his size.

The reason why JuJu is getting more playing time over Rogers, is because JuJu is our best blocking WR. Seriously. Nothing will get you more time on this team, than a receiver that lays the wood. Wardesque. Love it!

This maybe true and i respect the blocking, but it is not helping much in the run game at this point. I don't think you should start a WR based on blocking ability unless your a ground and pound team. We are certainly not that.

He's not starting yet. but he is getting more snaps due to his run blocking.

I can see him progressing and was definitely targeted more in the Bears game. Bryant seems to just be
a splash player. Can have a great game or make a great play, but isn't consistent from game to game.

For the Steelers offense to be good, you need a #2 that gets you 5 or 6 catches a game, each and every game.

Bumping the thread a bit. He might be, but the offense still scores most when Bryant hits big plays. Bryant should have had a deep TD pass. Ben over threw him. So now they are even...Get on the same page Ben and Bryant.

Juju is a slot guy... he doesn't have the speed for an outside position... i mean he may get more important roles as the year goes on, but if you are suggesting he will surplant Bryant outside... no he won't

Eli should not be active again this year, unless we have an injury. Hunter is way better than him!

I see this too, Hunter really has thaT "COMBAT" catch attitude that's needed..........

or did yinz mean Wombat?

as often his catches end up

down under

You related to Hunter?

Nope, just broke down all the receivers, and I like what I see. I'm very disappointed that Eli couldn't make a splash this year yet for us. He has better hands, but I think Hunter has more big play potential.

That dropped punt basically cost us a game. You notice who was back on punts today. Hunter, and DHB were out there, was Rogers active?

No Rogers was benched. This is why i ALWAYS want AB back on PR. He doesn't muff punts, and It's more important to have possession than a big play from your PR. Fair catch every time. Noone can touch you and you can't get hurt!
