JuJu Will Be #2 by Midseason

Of course he did to find the football. Like every other WR would have done.

Cheerios and milk as I'm running a little later. Tomorrow hoping for diced peppers & mushrooms in scrambled eggs with a glass of tomato juice.

Bryant knows where the ball is to be thrown, look up over the shoulder, look back if need but NOT a slow and go. Catching a softball or a football are a lot alike and I did it all the time (over the shoulder). I'm NOT even an oppressed athlete and had no problems so If I would know where the ball was going that would be even more to my advantage. There is no way a stop running should have occurred unless your missing something......... Like the play called.

That makes absolutely no sense. And you could have never played WR in your life. Seeing a ball hit by a bat and catching a football are different. Off the bat you see where the ball is going and you attempt to get there. Bryant back is to ball the whole play. If he doesnt look back how does he find the ball. How does he know which shoulder its coming in on? He slowed for a fraction of second to locate the ball. And again this wasnt about whether or not he slowed down or stopped it was why..it was inferred IMO that he slowed up or stopped because of effort or lack there of. When i simply stated that he had to find the ball. And yes the ball did go thru his hands and ive already stated he should have caught it

ok,, ill watch for antonio brown slowing down doing a crossing route when he starts to expect the ball...:towel:

Two totally different concepts and if you never played wr you wouldnt understand. On a crossing route you are facing the ball. You can see the qb release

Ben needs to actually find and throw JuJu and Eli the ball on more than shovel passes and drag routes... can we hit them more than 10 yards down the field.

Sent from my SM-N900T using Steeler Nation mobile app

That video on the first play of the game shows Bryant being bumped and that slowed him a bit but I didn't see where he slowed down purposely on his own. As soon as he got away from the defender, he was going full speed.

I didn't look it up but it seems that JuJu got more looks than eli the last 2 weeks.

OBVIOUSLY you know everything there is to know about catching a football or a softball. But what about the part of the ball going through his hands.............. Argue all you want but there are similarities and YES I have played both softball and WR.

Thing is, nobody but you is saying he kept running at the pace he should have.

Then you need to read thru the thread because i always said he slowed down slightly to find the ball. The issue in question was always why did he slow down not if.

Because at the time it was about effort or giving up on the play i dont consider looking back for the ball as anything wrong. Cant catch it if you cant find it

He slowed down and looked like a baseball player who didn't want to run out a ground out at first base. Once he saw Ben was going his way he turned on the jets, but it was too late. If he routes hard the entire route it's an easy touchdown, perfect pass from Ben.

I still don't call it a drop, WRs drop balls all the time. Sure it would have been a huge play in the game, but it was the very first play. Its not like there wasn't a whole game left to play. Bryant seems to be the scape goat here, but the white offense has pretty much stunk it up for 3 weeks. We should be one of if not the top offense in the league. I am more confident Bryant will get in track than bell.

He didn't quit, but he did hesitate for a split second

Hey maybe im wong. But that's not what I saw. The sped up gif's make it look very different from real time.

I saw him let up running his route and try to adjust after.

A split second to find the ball. Why because his back was to the QB

I don't see him quitting on that route at all. He got shoved at the line then ran past 2 defenders like they were standing still. Not sure how you blow by 2 DBs if you quit?

That's what you think. You stated it before. I contend it was more than that. Why because sometimes receivers ******* quit on a route.

Thats whats on video. How can you look at it and see it any other way? And im not being a funny. What makes you see it that way??
