JuJu Will Be #2 by Midseason

OHHHH ,, so when receivers turn to look for the ball theyre supposed to slow down... ok,, I see now! Thanks!

Slowing down slightly when looking for the ball and stopping are two different things

Post the play. He didnt stop. Cause looking back your going to maintain the same speed

close enuff
:tape:

And there are numerous sites still saying it was slightly over thrown. I changed my mind because i feel a WR of his caliber should catch that.

Still think him and Bell have some speed still to be recovered.

It doesn't matter if he slowed down or not, the ball hit him in the hands, He should have caught it.

Right now, I feel our #2 receiver is currently inactive on game day. I start Justin Hunter next week to send a message. No way Justin misses that ball...

He slowed down and looked like a baseball player who didn't want to run out a ground out at first base. Once he saw Ben was going his way he turned on the jets, but it was too late. If he routes hard the entire route it's an easy touchdown, perfect pass from Ben.

Not even close to what happened. If he isnt running fast he doesnt get behind the corner and safety. I dont even know how you can describe it that way

As the football released out of the hands of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, it seemed evident that the Steelers were poised to strike first. The pass’ target, wide receiver Martavis Bryant, had five yards on the nearest Bears’ defender. For a brief few seconds, worries of the Steelers’ road struggles seemed suspended in the air as it headed towards the fingertips of Bryant. And then just as fast as the worries had been put aside, it came crashing back down to earth, falling right through the fingertips of the Steelers wide receiver.

Though on the broadcast, Bryant’s dropped pass looked to be as close to a pure drop as one could get, perhaps there was more to the missed opportunity than just a pass that slipped through the receiver’s grasp. Taking a glance at Bryant’s route, the lightning-quick receiver seems to slow down for a fraction of a second as he turns to locate the ball.

Bryant blew through 2 defenders. I have to believe he was the primary target there as the steelers wanted to make an early statement. I do not call that a pure drop. B he would have had to catch the back half of the ball with his fingertips. Maybe he did have trouble locating the ball, but i do not think he was lacking effort on the play. To say justin Hunter would have caught the ball is crazy. There is no way of knowing that and who knows if hunter could have even got that open. JuJu may turn out to be good, but do not see him being #2. Rodgers needs more balls and Bell needs less reps. Need a straight ahead no non sense guy right now till the oline gets it together

It's not crazy. Hunter has great speed, good size, and good hands. With Bryant, he's a boom or bust receiver. Vs Minnesota, he boomed. In Chicago, he busted.

Lol. Boom Bust Bryant. Could be a good nickname down the line

Nothing like this

Just go 4 wide EVERY PLAY with Bell in the Backfield....

Damn do I have to think of everything?

youre such an apologist,,,, now youre arguing the Term "Stop" nobody in their right mind would say he stopped. Like dead stop. Only you could argue this. Welll maybe coach.. back in the day he had some word he disputed to death too.

Because when this arguement started it was about Bryant stopping slowing down as if he did something very wrong. As in he gave up or wasnt putting in effort. When it was slight and when he turned to look for the ball.

I'm with you Steve.

With the right OC, this team could be a run and shoot/ K-gun offense. We have better personnel than any team that has attempted to run it.
