Why don't you see KP starting? What about Glitch's resume leads you to believe that he is the right guy, or at least adequate for now? Also, which player/position should we draft in place of KP that would lead to us having "a play maker right now." Would an OT make us an immediate threat? Would a WR lead to us sweeping the Bengals annually?
Please advise.
Cooch doesn't care for him too. That alone should make a fan question their take on him.Skip Bayless doesn’t like KP. That just adds to my belief that he was the right pick. Bayless is a moron, so being on the opposite side from him is the right choice.

Did the NFL make a new rule that says, “If you pick a QB this year, you are PREVENTED from picking one next year”? If things work out, you don’t need to wait till next year. If they don’, pick again.I think part of what appears to be desperate over reach is Tomlin wanting to prove he can win without Ben instead of waiting for next years far better class and the uncertainity of what the draft picture for the Steelers will look like. Colbert was not going to offer much resistance as he is on his way out.
I hate to say it because he's a USDA Grade A A**hat, but I hope Ballz Deep in His Own A** is completely right and this guy is the second coming of Steve Young or Montana(the REAL GOAT) himself because our division opponents have fangs now.
So here are the things we are not focusing on
First off Pickett was basically scouted by them for five years… he practices in the same facility as the Steelers on the south side and plays in hienz field already… he has talked a bunch about talking to Tomlin and other Steelers through the years as they hung around practice…and his OC the past three years was Ben’s old QB coach under cowher… he wasn’t retained by Tomlin but the parting was amicable… he already had a job lined up with the eagles… so they had more access to how he really is than they had for most prospects…
Secondly Picketts numbers are misleading because for most of his career they wanted him to play in an ultra conservative run first offense… there was an infamous game vs Clemson where he only threw for 8 yards because pitt ran for like 300 yet still managed to lose… he did have some issues with his deep ball at first, but whipple worked him through that..
Basically thats the reason people are so down on him… he already got all the nfl coaching in college… he played pro style… there aren’t any great mysteries about how he probably will develop. His technical problems are minor.
With willis you get that lotto ticket feel to him… if you fix some things and you get a megastar… same with Ridder…
Puckett is a vanilla pick.. had we drafted him last year in the sixth round, he might have been viewed as a grand slam… in the first this season its a sacrifice bunt….
Yep. My thoughts exactly. I believe we have our new franchise QB. I also believe that many of the guys on this site wear dresses.Did the NFL make a new rule that says, “If you pick a QB this year, you are PREVENTED from picking one next year”? So you picture men in dresses do ya. Even give men girl names. The depth of your gayness runs balls deep.Yep. My thoughts exactly. I believe we have our new franchise QB. I also believe that many of the guys on this site wear dresses.

How do you type with both hands on your boyfriend's dick?Cookie - just curious, why do you feel like asking for citations are unnecessary even when certain members arbitrarily decide to make up lies and ask other members to refute those same lies? Is it because you just love lies? Please advise.
And just to recap, I don't post "intelligently" and with enough "analysis", and this is coming from same guy who doesn't use capitalization or punctuation, repeatedly calls me "****", and whose only "rebuttal" (using that word extremely loosely here) to anything that I said is that Brady wasn't 'technically' a rookie when he got Bledsoe's job? lol
A sheep says BAH.

Painted taints?Ballz Deep Bo Peep needs to start stepping -- away from sniffing paints and taints.
Painted taints?
Painted taints would be a great name for a punk rock band. Those too.
Seems like you didn't read the Constitution that we uphold - so I'll let your Dad comment slide. You've got 3 more strikes against the family and then you'll be on vacation...Just because you grew up watching your Dad do it doesn't make it common-place in every family, Gump.

I did not boo the pick, peckerhead. It was just okay.Between him and Coach booing the pick, there's definitely hope.
I'm about to pour a nice glass of Tito's and re-read this - BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAgree with those who say, "Doesn't matter if I like the pick, he's our guy." Would not have drafted Muth, but he's a Steeler and an excellent player.
Also, to answer some criticism of Pickett's competition last year, he played one SEC team, went 24-36, 285 yds, 2 TD's, 0 picks, ran for a TD, won the game.
"Come on, it was Tennessee."
So the stats that Alabama and Georgia players get against Tennessee and Vanderbilt and Arkansas don't count??
If Tom Brady in his prime went to the Steelers for a conditional 6th Skip Bayless would **** on it. His anti Steelers to get attention bullshit is soooooooo old.Skip Bayless doesn’t like KP. That just adds to my belief that he was the right pick. Bayless is a moron, so being on the opposite side from him is the right choice.
