Not me. I want to go to Baltimore. Win or go home. You have to beat good teams at some point. Plus I am not sure we beat Houston. Rather get beat by a good team.
 
This Steeler franchise reminds me of the Packers of the 70’s and 80’s living off what they did in the 60’s with those great Lombardi teams.
This owner is living off history and is more concerned with public perception now.
He thinks the Steelers way is the only way as other teams like the Ravens, Chiefs, Chargers, Texans, Broncos, Niners, Lions, Eagles, Redskins,Rams, all keep passing them by. Hell, the Bengals were in the SB just a few short years ago.
Owner has been living in the past. Antiquated philosophy, HC. Hell, they won’t even negotiate player contracts in season because it’s the Steeler way.

This was the thing. There is no ****** way he should have got the rebuild because he doesn't believe in it which accounts for the situation they are in.

Houston at 4-6 in their last 10 games is hoping for the same thing…that they get the hapless OldeRuss led Steelers with Mediocre Mike leading the 0-4 sliding Steelers into the slaughterhouse.

We are literally Houston’s only hope!

How sad is that?

Can’t draft the QB of the future, Mike would wreck him if we did actually hit on one-so pointless to even try. Ironically he needs one badly to overcome his deficiencies.

Can’t trade lofty expiring contracts to rebuild, just gotta pay TJ and waste his entire career.

They’ll let Pickens walk as a FA and hope for a comp pick or get pennies on the dollar for him in a trade (equivalent to what they would’ve got in a comp pick).

They’ll find a way to screw it up and keep the holding pattern of mediocrity going, resigning Mike last year pretty much showed their “I don’t care, mediocre is good enough” hand.

At least we’re not Cleveland!!!!

I don’t know why anyone would think Houston is incapable of shutting down the offensive **** show that is the Pittsburgh Steelers offense.

And I wouldn’t put it past the defense to get steamrolled by a team that is missing its top two WR’s. Seen that movie before.

Steelers specialty coaches don't seem able to develop players as other teams seem to. We are not consistent both sides of the ball, we make a play and all happy with each other and then goes south for numerous plays. The stats last night truly showed this.

Zona….i think my biggest issue In quite some time with Mr Rooney is the contract extension. If there ever was a point in the 17 years of CMT this was the time. It should have been a prove it year. For the life of me I just could not understand giving a raise and rewarding a coach after the Canada seeking out,hiring and then worse….retaining him debacle. I would love to know if he tried to retain Brian Flores. Just what message does that send to the fans?
It was hot seat time. Just like any other job where expectations are not realized.

For you Tomlin nuthuggers out there. I just can’t understand your mentality. Enlighten me. Do you feel he has not been given every opportunity under the sun to take this team a step further? I mean when is enough,enough? Do you believe expectations are being realized?
 
Heyward playing like an all pro at this point of his career to still be anchored by the ****** play call is quite saddening.
