LOL, The homerism is running wild on Pittsburgh Sports radio today,

The Harbaugh firing has exposed the Pomp and Joe's show's ruse - they've been pumping up Tomlin and the Steelers this week so they can call for his firing if/when they lose.

They're already almost calling for it now before the game.

Same thing is happening on the other shows, I'm sure.

Opposite happening at national level -- everyone picking the Texans so if there's an upset they can pump up Tomlin.

Just came from 2 Texans message boards. Scanned through about 30 posts. The fans aren't the players I know, but the consensus seems to be that facing Josh Allen a third time and containing him is their main worry....I mean completely over looking the Steelers as a "speed bump" on the road to where they are going.

One guy posted something about "we need to be concerned about the Steelers defense against our O-line." and was ignored for the most part.

LOL...though it's highly unlikely, I hope we steamroll these mother crunchers.

Joe Starkey says the Steelers have the best front 7 in the AFC, the best Oline in the AFC, the best offense to go against Houston in the AFC. Says our defense will smash Houston, we will be in the AFCCG. He says we are actually on a 4 game winning streak because if DK plays we beat Cleveland. Says Highsmith should've sacked Lamar so that game really didn't come down to a FG.

What a moron, every hypothetical or should've should go the Steelers way, then list how NE almost lost to this team, and how Denver lost to this team, and Buffalo scraped by here.
Sounds like we might be.......SB BOUND!!!!!:)

The Fan is playing some awesome Pittsburgh sports memories. Super great stuff.
I didn't get a chance to listen, but got me thinking. With Buffalo closing their stadium and as NFL teams continue to build these soulless domed stadiums, Heinz Field has great moments and memories. So many legendary players and incredible games. Last week just added to the mix of Steelers-Ravens games--not even counting crazy finishes against other teams.
