Mason Rudolph signing with Titans

Rudolph was a textbook case of not being able to shake the first impression he made... Marcus Mariotta was a first round pick who started his career with two good seasons... he turned into a ****** qb but continues to get shots....

Mason played well within a very cruddy offensive system but got grilled by the fams and the media

Mostly this stuff is driven by dipshit draftniks who think what they think they see at the combine is the end all be all for players...

I am really sad to see him go, but I wish him the best of luck with the Titans.
They guy DESERVES some success.
He was nothing but a team guy, didn't complain or bellyache, and waited for his opportunities.
Then did well when he had his shots, and STILL couldn't get any traction with the team.

I really think we will regret losing him as I see him doing well if he gets an honest shot with a team with just a normal system as compared to the sh!t coaches put on the field the last few years.

I suspect he will be the Kevin Dotson of QB's this year and see great success.

AND the Titans just signed Calvin Ridley.

We better make our WR soon ..... Boyd, Renfrow, Mike Williams?.... I'm hoping Boyd, it just makes too much sense.

Why not Boyd AND Renfrow ?

Man, replace Rudolph's name with Pickett and you have almost the exact same description for him, that many call "excuses"

Mason was a class act guy. Never bitched and moaned, didn’t pout, always a team first guy.
Went about his business like a professional that he is and when called to duty he was ready.
I hope and do think he will beat out Will Bluejeans in Nashville.
Go get it now Mason!

Before Russell Wilson became available at his discounted rate, there was talk that Mason was going to get Trubisky type money ($8 million a year), if he signed with Pittsburgh. To take a one year $3.6 million deal to back up elsewhere means he must really have been pissed off with the B.S. the Steelers were feeding him and was only too happy to remove the safety net Tomlin thought he had at the QB position. I am not surprised he left for greener pastures but the amount he left for did.

Similar situation to Pittsburgh with a young QB who is a question mark. That organization is a mess, though. It'll be interesting to see how this new regime makes changes.
