Regardless of who starts we could be stuck with a clown show at QB. None of those guys-Trubisky, Rudolph or Pickett-is named Mahomes, Allen or Burrow.Fans are frustrated that we’ll get stuck with a clown show at qb! They weren’t booing him they were booing the thought of him replacing Big Ben. He sucks! They don’t want to buy expensive tickets to home games to watch him tie Detroit!! cant blame them
My entire extended family is from Pittsburgh. My father grew up in downtown Pittsburgh near Forbes field. My grandfather drove a cab in Pittsburgh for years after his WW 2 combat sevice in the Army before buying a farm 44 miles NE of the city. They're all good solid people. As a Steeler fan, I am extremely proud to not have come from that disrespectful shithole that is Pittsburgh. I would gladly follow them if they left that town, just like the Ravens did. When you see a display like that, you deserve to do without. Don’t like the guy, so be it, that is your right, but those dumb ***** are a typical representation of Pittsburgh.
To be fair not many QBs are on par with Mahomes, Allen, or Burrow. Hopefully Pickett develops into a top ten QB. The kid sure doesn't lack in confidence.Regardless of who starts we could be stuck with a clown show at QB. None of those guys-Trubisky, Rudolph or Pickett-is named Mahomes, Allen or Burrow.
Yeah, they all looked pretty good last night, but it was pre-season, Seattle and not many starters to be found anywhere on either side. Encouraging for sure, but I don’t think you can christen anyone or write anyone off just yet.
Malone, Graham, Stewart ... Mason isn't the first Steelers QB to be booed in his own stadium.
Not saying it's right.
You stand by your post, but I'm unclear as to what your post says.Been there for games 3 times, spent 2-3 days each time. My sister lived there for 3 years. With my impression as well as hers, I stand by my post. If it upsets people, they should really look to their locals that have earned this review.
Truth…and just like every other team there are some real dumbass Steeler fans out there…just trolls posing as fans that don’t have a clueAfter reading the nonsense over in the Rudolph trade thread, I've come to the conclusion that there are those that hate fans who support Rudolph more than they hate Rudolph.
The clown show has been at offensive coordinatorFans are frustrated that we’ll get stuck with a clown show at qb! They weren’t booing him they were booing the thought of him replacing Big Ben. He sucks! They don’t want to buy expensive tickets to home games to watch him tie Detroit!! cant blame them
I think there’s something to this. Though the script has flipped and you’ve got Mark Madden’s people telling him Kenny isn’t pro ready so he’s upset with last night. Kaboly was pushing Rudolph as the starter and he’s doing his best to dismiss last night’s game performance from the QBs.A lot of that sentiment last night is probably because both of the main sports talk radio stations in the town have shat on Rudolph from day one, and have cultivated that idiotic hatred of him…
Eh, that was part of it but I didn’t get the sense it was an overwhelming part. It was definitely a combination of wanting to watch Pickett and not wanting Rudolph on there. The booing was mainly due to fans wanting to see Pickett. That's it.
Born and raised there 20 miles to the east, spent 30 years there, not just 3 years or 2-3 games. The city itself is like any city in the county, there are good parts of town and those to be avoided. I still have family there any go back on a regular basis. If it weren't for lack of job opportunities, and the snow of course, I likely still live there, so I more or less take exception on the generalized take of the area.Wow. Not sure what to say about that. Tell us what you really think. Been to the Burgh twice. People were pretty damn nice. I agree it was a little stupid. But yeah ok. Don't think that's gonna go over too well.
That's what I'm thinking, this years game 2 will be like game 3 in previous years. Also, Tomlin usually played starters in pre season game #3, and sat 'em in game 4. With only 3 preseason games, do we see a lot of the starters next week, and they sit preseason game 3?
That doesn't excuse it tho. I was embarrassed by it. Kudos to Rudolph for playing well and shutting them upThe booing was mainly due to fans wanting to see Pickett. That's it.
I agree with this, and to be fair I read somewhere that they were booing Trubisky too just 2 snaps into the first practice and calling for Kenny lol, it's going to be alot of pressure on our starting QB this year..The booing was mainly due to fans wanting to see Pickett. That's it.
I see many on Social Media saying the throw was a prayer and he was lucky. SMH. If Pickett threw it they would be slobbering on his knob.random question. when Mason threw the perfect TD pass. did the fans cheer? man I hope so
Oh no they were absolutely booing him. Wasn't the last time either. Even after throwing the touchdown he got some boos the next series.I’m not sure they were actually booing Rudolph. I thought they were booing because Kenny Pickett didn’t come into the game after Trubisky.
